Bethzienna is driving her music toward a more Avant Garde approach. Not a fan of feeling confined by a specific genre, her jazz origins are now dripped in neo-soul and blues rock. With her youth spent singing in gospel choirs and performing with big-bands, her roots are always embedded in her music.
B, relocated to London in 2009 after being awarded a DADA Scholarship to study at Mountview. Having spent the past 6 years in and out of songwriting camps and studios, learning from the industry’s finest and writing for one of the world’s leading independent music publishers; Notting Hill Publishing, her work has led to her role with Never Such Innocence - a charity mentoring the younger generation.
As an actress, in 2018 she was lauded by The Guardian for her “impressive debut” in The Assassination of Katie Hopkins. With her classical theatrical training a part of her make up, as an artist, she describes herself as a 'storyteller', using every art form to create a story and connection.
