GIRLS INTERACTIVE INITIATIVE FOR REKINDLING LEARNING FOR SOCIAL-VALUES (G.I.R.L.S) is an interactive mentorship-based nonprofit organization with a vision to help shape the character of our female young adults today for tomorrow. It is committed to improving the ethical behavior of the girl youth by developing strong family ties, strong educational ties, and strong peer to peer interaction to achieve strong moral character. This can be accomplished through group participation and one-on-one relationship building within the mentoring program.
G.I.R.L.S empowers girls to create social change. We invite young women to design, lead, fund and implement social change projects that tackle issues faced in their own neighborhoods.
G.I.R.L.S provides the tools, resources, partnerships, and support girls need to gain the voice, ability, and problem-solving capacity to realize their full potential. We welcome and serve all girls and focus our efforts on female young adults.
