“Lily,” my befuddled parents would inquire, “is this story real, or make believe?” “Make believe,” I would reply. Though, come on, it was totally real.
As a young girl, when my parents asked me how my day was and what I did, it would constantly involve a dinosaur. It became that, whenever I would kick into storytelling mode, or just simply be random, my parents would call it “The Lily Factor”. Then I would tilt my head and yell, “DING!” We often joked that someday I would create a website or platform called just that, so when I decided to join social media, well, The Lily Factor felt like an appropriate domain name.
