Behind Veils is dedicated to dismantling barriers to justice and accountability by providing a platform for the unheard and sidelined voices. Our mission is to shed light on obscured narratives, advocate for accountability, protect the right to one’s honor and dignity, and demand justice in light of wrongdoings and transgressions.

Through our inclusive platform, we strive to empower marginalized individuals, fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and action … rooted in the guiding principles and directives from both the Qur’ān and Sunnah . Together, we work towards a world where every voice is valued, every story is heard, and justice is truly accessible to all.

What began as one brother’s personal struggles and an emphatic call for accountability, while profiling the corruption amongst religious leaders, has now spread across the world. The growing sentiment for accountability and justice has lead to Muslims rising up, sharing their stories, and demanding justice.

Behind Veils

Wisam Sharieff, former instructor at AlMaghrib Institute, has been sentenced to 80 years in federal prison. This isn’t rumor or “fitnah.” This is a court ruling.

Moments like this force a hard reflection: outward religiosity is not righteousness. Knowledge, reputation, and platform do not place anyone above accountability.

One of the most dangerous problems in our communities is protecting people instead of protecting principles. Silencing victims, shaming questions, and shielding leaders from consequences is not from Islām — that’s how corruption spreads.

Justice in our dīn is not selective. It doesn’t bend for status, scholarship, or fame. Wrong is wrong, even when it’s uncomfortable.

This is not a celebration. It’s a warning.

Islām is not protected by covering wrongdoing.
Islām is protected by upholding justice.

Behind Veils

Mohammed Hijab, you’ve suddenly resurfaced with great energy for debates — yet continue hiding 🫣 when it comes to the allegations cast against you. After attempting to respond discreetly through AI avatars and behind a digital mask 🎭, it’s clear you’re doing everything possible to avoid facing this publicly. And we get it — after being caught and exposed, you’ve been trying your best to bury it all.

But your silence hasn’t protected you. It’s only made one thing crystal clear:
You’re terrified. 😳
You’re petrified. 🫨
And all the tough-guy muscle-flexing 💪 you do online collapses the moment a woman 🧕 you thought you could silence 🤐 stands resilient and firm with her truth.

Since you are now publicly offering “no restrictions, no limitations,” allow me to extend you another opportunity.

I, as well as Sister Aisha, are prepared to debate you live, on-camera — no AI filters, no disguises, no shadowy edits — on any point regarding your denial of the allegations, your documented deceptions, your diversions, and your slander against Sister Aisha.

❌ No restrictions.
❌ No limitations.
❌ No evasions.

If you are genuinely interested, simply confirm in the comments or by messaging Behind Veils. You have my number Hijab … after all, you did try to intimidate us by casting veiled threats directly — just 2 months before we went public.

And unlike your conveniently narrow one-slot availability, we are flexible and willing to accommodate any date 📆 and any time that suits you.
So there can be no excuses, no scheduling theatrics, and no disappearing acts this time. 💨

If you claim innocence, transparency, and “manhood,” then step forward — face-to-face, live, unfiltered — and address the truth you’ve been running from while issuing challenges to everyone except the people who hold evidence against you.

You’ve made your challenges. We’ve answered ours. ✅
Now let’s find out who actually has the spine to show up.

The community is watching. 👀
Your move, Hijab! ♖

——

*Team Mohammed Hijab & Ali Dawah have been blocking Behind Veils accounts on social media. Isn’t it quite damning how two of the loudest mouths on the internet don’t have the courage to defend themselves after being exposed?!

Behind Veils

Let me make this absolutely clear: I do not support, defend, or excuse anyone who mocks, insults, or vilifies Islam or our beloved Prophet ﷺ — not Young Bob, nor anyone else. My stance on that is unambiguous and unwavering. Anyone who engages in such vile behavior is to be condemned, full stop. Many of these individuals I’ve never even heard of, and frankly, most of the world hasn’t either — they thrive off outrage and attention, neither of which I intend to give them.

But let’s be honest — this channel was never created to chase after every provocateur who throws an insult at Islam. Alḥamdulillāh, there are many capable scholars, students of knowledge, and da‘wah organizations who dedicate their time and expertise to refuting such attacks. Behind Veils has a very different mission: to clean out our own ranks — to address the hypocrisy, corruption, and harm festering within our communities that our own leaders refuse to confront.

We are not accountable for what outsiders do; but we are fully accountable for what festers within our own homes, institutions, and masaajid. For too long, we’ve been conditioned to deflect accountability — to point fingers outward while rotting from within. That is not the Sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ, nor of the Prophets before him, nor of the rightly guided Caliphs who prioritized justice and reform within their own ummah before anything else.

So let’s be clear: condemning external enemies is easy. It earns applause and comfort. But cleaning our own house — that takes courage, sincerity, and love for this deen. And that’s precisely why Behind Veils exists.

🧕🏽 Sister Aisha Answers Common Questions

════════════════════

❓ Why did I come out publicly?
There were both moral and spiritual reasons.
Morally, I believe if I had spoken earlier, many harmful “McDonalds” marriages could have been prevented. He has been misrepresenting our sacred texts and misleading the youth.
Spiritually, our religion has always been protected when individuals in positions of trust were exposed after becoming a source of misguidance.

════════════════════

❓ Why did I speak to people who are enemies of Islam?
At that time, I was broken. I felt violated. I felt cheated. I felt used. After over a year and a half of seeking help, I felt every door shut in my face. I was overwhelmed and needed to scream the truth.
For me, accountability was the only way to hold on to my faith.
I called them Shaytan. And since then, I had a tremendous amount of regret for ever reaching out to them. I have since repented to Allah. I advise every Muslim to stay away from such paths, no matter how desperate things may feel.

════════════════════

❓ Did I agree to secrecy?
The only form of secrecy I accepted was not informing his other family, as that is what he demanded of me.
He had promised a marital home, a shared life, and family involvement. What he asked for after the marriage was completely different and not what we originally discussed.

════════════════════

❓ Did I agree to discretion?
Yes, but only regarding the number of nights we would spend together in our home.
I did not agree to being hidden, erased, or treated like a secret.

════════════════════

❓ Was this a divorce?
This was a khulaa, and it happened under very complex circumstances.
The Islamic ruling on it was not immediately clear, which is why I involved the council for proper clarification and resolution.

════════════════════

❓ What about my father?
My father gave his permission for the marriage. He later changed his mind, but by then it was already too late.
I was excited to share the news, and Hijab told me to lie and say we didn’t go ahead with it.

════════════════════

❓ What about the duaa?
My recording was cropped, just like the audio of Brother Abu Ayah.
It came from a nearly hour-long conversation where I laid out every option.
I was angry, emotional, and thinking of my child and others affected by this twisted image of Islam.
I regret my words, but no one should be eternally judged by a moment of intense anger.
If Hijab’s outbursts were clipped like mine, no one would appear more unstable than him.

════════════════════

❓ What about the comment on Palestine?
It was a comparison of narcissism and lack of empathy between the IDF and Hijab’s treatment of me.
He acted with confidence because he believed he could get away with it.

════════════════════

❓ What was the Mubahala really about?
It wasn’t just about the khulaa.
It was about his denial of the marriage itself, the deception, and the manipulation.
To this day, he refuses to deny the marriage and instead attacks my character.
Mubahala is a right given to the oppressed, even when no direct evidence exists.

════════════════════

❓ Why are my emotions so intense in this story?
A close friend left Islam when I was a teen, and I felt helpless.
That trauma stayed with me.
I cannot stay silent when Islam is being distorted by those who hold influence.

════════════════════

❓ Was I pursuing him in those messages?
No.
He made the first move in 2019.
The messages they shared came after a call.
I retracted what I said, acknowledging I was speaking emotionally.
Ali trying to paint me as mentally unstable was beyond what I expected.
If I’m a liar, show proof. But there is none. Only deflection.

════════════════════

⚖️ What is your main case against Mohammed Hijab?
I aim to prove he is unworthy of trust. Here’s why:
• Fabricated screenshots to mislead.
• Blackmailed the Shaykh involved in our case.
• Mocked marriage with the “McDonald’s nikah”.
• Distorted rulings by ignoring Maqasid al-Shariah.
• Publicly spread these views—still online. No scholars corrected him.
• Corrupted youth with twisted teachings.
• WhatsApp confessions confirmed by Tarawneh.
• Refused Mubahala.
• Manipulated conversations with Abu Ayah.
• Objectified women in marriage-related talks.

These aren’t isolated. This is a pattern.
I came forward out of obligation—to protect the deen and preserve my Aqeedah.
Silence in the face of corruption is complicity.

Behind Veils

Ali Dawah has played a clever trick, one that borders on the demonic.

By saying, “I’m not accusing him of anything; I’m just relaying what his ex-wife said,” he thinks he has absolved himself of the sin of accusing me of zinā.

Unfortunately, all he has done is make the entire world see him for what he is: a liar.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is enough for a man to prove himself a liar when he goes on narrating whatever he hears.”
[Muslim]

Keep relaying the lies. You are only burying yourself deeper.

I have spent eight months meticulously dissecting Sister Aisha’s case against Mohammed Hijab. I personally contacted Hijab to verify everything. Instead of responding with honesty, he attacked me, the Shaykh who knows about the marriage, the mediator Dr. Abu Ayah, and the sister herself.

I have the evidence, and I have already released part of it. But wallāhi, what I am about to release next will expose these two sociopaths as the liars they truly are.

I am not done presenting, not because I lack evidence, but because my channel is not monetized like Ali Dawah’s, where he earns thousands upon thousands each month.

Be patient. The truth is coming.

Behind Veils

🔹 Correction on Personal Testimony as Evidence in Islam

We would like to correct an earlier point regarding the victim’s personal testimony (shahādat al-madhlūm). In Islamic legal procedures, a claimant’s own statement is not considered valid evidence (bayyina) on its own. While it can initiate legal action—such as compelling the accused to take an oath (yameen)—it does not fulfill the Islamic legal requirement of testimony unless supported by external witnesses or clear proof. Until this very moment, Mohammed Hijab has refused to engage or take an oath (yameen) that he did not marry Sister Aisha (a pseudonym used to protect her from threats—despite the fact that Mohammed Hijab has already revealed her real name).

This clarification is important: one of our team members made an innocent mistake by responding to comments, influenced by the confusion that naturally arises when navigating between Islamic, secular, and divine systems of justice. In secular law, a personal testimony may carry substantial weight, especially in civil or family matters. But in Islamic jurisprudence, the bar for evidence is higher and more structured.

That being said, while her statement may not meet Islamic legal thresholds, it still holds enormous moral and spiritual significance—especially in a community where the doors of justice are closed. When formal institutions fail, Allah’s door remains open. The oppressed are granted a powerful weapon: du‘ā that reaches the heavens without veil.

We acknowledge this oversight, and we thank those who urged us to revisit the matter. May Allah forgive our shortcomings, accept our efforts for justice, and guide us to uphold truth with precision and sincerity.

= = =

The Qur’an states, “God does not love the public mention of evil, except by one who was wronged; Verily God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing” (Qur’an 4:148).

*More evidence is coming soon.

Official Statement from Brother Salman:

ALI DAWAH has categorically SLANDERED me. He has relayed FALSE ACCUSATIONS, that he states are sourced directly from Dunia Shuaib, about allegedly
1) committing zina in their marriage and
2) beating her in their marriage

By the One in Whose Hands is my soul, BOTH of these are egregious accusations and entirely FALSE. I call for a public hearing and challenge Dunia Shuaib to a public mubāhala, as well as Ali Dawah.

Ali Dawah wants to now relay Dunia's lies. Ahlan wa sahlan. The world is yet to see the truth behind such accusations, along with much of what has been held back regarding Dunia.

Allāhul Musta’ān!
