Heightened spiritual discernment grows quietly in the life of someone who keeps choosing God, showing up in prayer, returning to the Word, fasting when led, and obeying even when it feels uncomfortable.

Over time, something shifts. Confusion begins to fade. Certain voices no longer feel right. Some doors lose their appeal, while others carry an unexplainable peace.

Scripture shows that discernment flows from closeness with God.

As intimacy deepens, the ability to recognize God’s voice becomes clearer:

My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27, NKJV).

Through continual exposure to truth, spiritual senses are trained, enabling discernment in everyday decisions (Hebrews 5:14, NKJV).

This kind of discernment shows up in ordinary moments,knowing when to speak or stay silent, when to move or wait, when something looks good but isn’t God.

It becomes a gentle inner witness that guards the heart and keeps the path aligned with His will (Proverbs 3:5–6, NKJV).

This is why pursuing spiritual discernment matters. It is not optional, it is a vital tool for developing deeper intimacy with God.

The more He is pursued, the clearer His voice becomes, and the safer the walk with Him grows. Choose the pursuit. Lean in daily. Intimacy is formed there.

Draw closer to God today and allow discernment to become a natural fruit of intimacy.

Love did not start with romance or roses.
It began with Jesus Christ🫂💞

When Jesus is the first Valentine:
• No person is expected to be the source.
• Love flows from fullness, not need.
• Relationships rest in peace, not pressure.

This is why His love must come first.

Only love received from Christ can be shared with husbands, children, and others without exhaustion.

Jesus does not compete with relationships:
He strengthens them.

When Christ is first,
every other love falls into order.

Prayer draws you near.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8 NKJV)

Fasting humbles the flesh and sharpens your spirit.
Jesus said, “When you fast…” (Matthew 6:16 NKJV)

The Word reveals His heart and aligns your steps.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NKJV)

And obedience sustains intimacy.
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word… and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23 NKJV)

Prayer builds connection.
Fasting deepens sensitivity.
The Word brings revelation.
Obedience invites His manifested presence.

Intimacy is cultivated daily.

Where Are You Running To?

Before you rush into this new month with fresh plans, new goals, and louder momentum… PLEASE PAUSE…..

February is not asking you to run faster.
It is inviting you to walk deeper with God.

Many people think a new month means:
New targets. New strategies. New pressure to “make things happen.”

But real spiritual growth does not begin with adding more.
It begins with slowing down enough for God to increase your capacity.

Because if your inner capacity has not grown, everything you add this month will only become a burden.

You don’t need more on your plate.
You need more room in your spirit.

What you keep carrying from January in your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your expectations may be the very thing preventing you from stepping into what God wants to do in February.

This month is an invitation to ask:
• What am I running from?
• What am I running toward?
• And most importantly… where is God not asking me to run at all?

Sometimes the holiest instruction is: slow down.

Slow down enough to hear.
Slow down enough to heal.
Slow down enough to let God stretch you on the inside before you try to expand on the outside.

February is a month to build capacity with God:
• Capacity to wait
• Capacity to listen
• Capacity to obey small promptings
• Capacity to carry what is coming later in the year

Because you cannot carry new weight with an old spiritual structure.

So before you add anything new this month, ask yourself:

What no longer belongs in my hands, my head, or my heart?

Let that go.

And let God use this month to prepare you not by speeding you up, but by deepening you.

Where are you running to?

Maybe this is the month God is calling you to stop running… and start abiding.
