Living Stone Witness

Hi, my name is Bettye. Welcome to "Living Stone Witness". I created this page to share what I’m learning in my walk with Jesus. God is love, and He longs for a real relationship with each of us. But love isn’t forced. He gives us the freedom to choose. My hope is that what I share here encourages you to draw closer to Him.

Living Stone Witness

Hey friends, I just found out about this documentary called "The Case for Miracles" – it's by Lee Strobel (the guy who wrote "The Case for Christ"). He was a hardcore atheist and investigative journalist who tried to debunk Christianity and ended up becoming a believer because the evidence was so strong.
Now he's digging into modern day miracles that have been verified, medical proof and everything.

A couple years ago, I went to the documentary movie called, "Come Out in Jesus's Name", and at the end they had a prayer. During this prayer they had people that were dealing with depression raise their hands. I went to this documentary desperate for God to use me. God ended up leading me to pray over this teenage girl with her hand raised in front of me. This was a moment that changed my life. I felt God's living waters rush through me into this young woman and saw joy in her face. I hugged her and the movie ended, so we started to leave. We ended up talking to someone else on our walk out and they invited us to a church in Maumee. We ended up going that Sunday and it just so happens that we were sitting beside the girls mom at the church, who then recognized me from the theater and said "I know you, you prayed for my daughter ". After church she told us that when I prayed for her daughter it was the first time her daughter felt joy and her extremely bad eczema left instantly.
God still heals, and He uses us, His temple/His church to be His hands and feet.

"The Case for Miracles"
is only playing for a few days (Dec 15-18) at certain theaters.

Just wanted to let others know about it!
