If you're experiencing end of month LONG stutters and lag in EU5 1.1 beta, change your renderer to Vulkan from DX12. It removed the very long stutter from me and others, and is worth trying yourself. There's still a much smaller stutter, but the game becomes way more playable.

So many improvements in EU5 1.1, but I have no idea what to make as a video or even to stream in the meantime until the beta. Anyone have ideas? AoW4 content ideas are great too, you guys love that stuff. It's just I haven't really had the ability to do new AoW4 stuff without... new AoW4 stuff. Any other game ideas are good too.

I'm trying to do more overall gaming discussion videos, but I haven't quite hit the mark on those yet.

Highguard just proves to me, that if you give a hero shooter tons of FPS mechanics, that it will end up being another arena shooter with a light flavoring of abilities.

If TTK is low, if everyone can use every gun, if good FPS mechanics can easily get you kills, then ability use will always take second place, and render it more like Halo Reach than a hero shooter.

Arc Raiders did so well because it gave players a lot of momentum, and slow animations, so that FPS "skill" of couch spam, slider spam, etc. became sigificantly lower in importance, and positioning/timing became significantly more important. That lets more people enjoy the game, and lets skills that aren't "how quick can you get the mouse over their head" actually begin to matter.

Youtube live seems to have just totally broken. Was going to do a VoD on doing a story realm, talking to chat, just having a bit of fun. Going to restart in a few hours then when hopefully things are fixed.

As an aside, I happened to do a Deathknight instead of a Warlock. Deathknights are obviously far weaker than Warlocks, but far more challenging on the map due to how Vampires function. Would you guys prefer the Deathknight or Warlock Vampire? Alternatively, are there any funny ways to make playing story realms more interesting you could think of?

The idea was to convert the story realm in to an edited video later.
