☯️💬”This was one of the most beneficial sessions in my spiritual growth but I didn’t realise the importance of it at the time or how seperate these aspects were within me. It’s worth noting does take a while to integrate.

Following a challenging childhood where for various reasons I was ‘parentified’ pretty much from birth. I created coping mechanisms that prevented me from being hurt due to feelings of lack of safety, security and love; whilst being outwardly a nurturing female, my way of thriving was to be in masculine (not challenging my gender just ways that prevented me from feeling) - I was a doer, I was successful because my intuition was strong, I was a bull in a china shop, crashing through any barriers and not realising the impact on others. I achieved in corporate and sport because I was driven and ignored a lot of what makes me female (I wouldn’t trade any of those experiences as it has made me who I am now, and whilst I would probably have traded them at the time I totally understand the journey).

What the balancing session has done and the subsequent integration, is effectively ground me back into my body, as a natural nurturer and mother I was performing tasks - while ignoring my inner feminine and all that is worth honouring - in fact I’d become such a martyr I just absorbed everything around me and didn’t even consider that my needs were important. As I write this I remember a point where if you asked me what I wanted in my life and what would make me happy, I didn’t know because I didn’t value myself that much.

To me balancing the feminine has been shifts over time, nurturing my body, becoming more in touch with it, rather than it being just a vessel, seeing that my strength and curves are beautiful. Removing a coil and honouring my cycle and understanding that it’s not a curse but so much more.

The hardest part for me has actually been to acknowledge and say I need rest, and then not feeling guilty about it or lazy….I’m definitely still working on that, and balancing that with times of action - so that my cup is full.

The journey has opened up big gaps between who I was and who I’m becoming - and that feels beautiful.

I’m so grateful for the person that is Claire, the multitude of skills she brings to the table, the way she works with Spirit and the support I’ve had from working with her for the last two and a half years.
