In May of 2018, I left my career as an English teacher to pursue my passion of interior decorating. I opened a booth at a local antique and consignment store where I sell DIY crafts, and thrifted, up-cycled, and vintage home decor. Turning thrift store finds into beautiful and useful home decor gives me such joy. My own home has always been a work in progress as I experiment with new trends and classic designs testing my skills as I paint, reupholster, knock down walls, wallpaper, build furniture, and much more. It is my hope that this channel will inspire and instruct others to create a beautiful home on a budget.

Who knew a $2.49 Goodwill find could look this chic? ✨
I’ve always believed that you don't need a huge budget to create something beautiful for your home. I recently found this adorable little basket at Goodwill for just $2.49! 🧺
To give it a "glow-up," I used:
Felt flowers & leaves from the Dollar Tree craft section. (Pro-tip: I bought a few packs to pick out the perfect neutral tones!) 🎨
A delicate lace ribbon bow (also from Dollar Tree) to add that soft, romantic touch. 🎀
Thrifted greenery from a large $14.99 bundle I found earlier. It was a bit of an investment, but it’s going to be the gift that keeps on giving for my next few projects! 🌿
I'm so happy with how this turned out. It just goes to show that with a little hot glue and some imagination, thrift store finds can become high-end decor!
Which look do you prefer—the vintage wallpaper vibe or the classic tabletop setting? Let me know in the comments! 👇

As we approach the end of 2025, I’m curious, if you had to choose ONE thrift flip from this year as your favorite, which one would it be? I’ll share mine in an upcoming video.

I’m so sorry, but I won’t be releasing a video today. There has been a death in my family that requires me to go out of town for a few days. I hope to release a video at 3 pm CST tomorrow, but unfortunately, next week’s video will also be delayed. Thank you so much for understanding. Hope to see you soon!❤️

I need your help! I am working on a video about what is selling in 2025 and would love to have your input. What sells quickly for you? What items make you the most money? What does NOT sell well for you anymore? Thanks so much! I can’t wait to read your responses.

So, this happened! I’m still going to use it in my outdoor decor (in next week’s video), but I’m curious—what would you do with it?
