A Special Early Release for Washington’s Birthday Weekend
I’m breaking the usual release schedule to bring you something special tomorrow morning.
Usually, we wait for the start of the month, but with George Washington’s birthday falling this Sunday (Feb 22), I wanted us to walk through Valley Forge together this weekend.
This isn't just a tour; it’s an immersive journey using his actual letters and orders from the winter of 1777-1778. From the 'inexpressible concern' he shared with Martha to the 'ice-cold' rebukes he sent to his rivals, we’ll hear his words on the very ground where he wrote them.

We're changing our video releases to just one new video at the beginning weekend of each month. Our goal is to give you entertaining and visually interesting walks while we have fun with the video-making process. The change in the schedule will help us keep the process sustainable.
We have some interesting locations coming up this year that we hope you'll like. There may also be times when we pop in a remix or a special event mid-month, but for now we hope you'll look forward to our next new video in June. Thanks as always for your subscription and support.

Walk After Dinner
Aug 25 - We've had thousands of views (? !!!!) of the Macungie PA "Awkscht Fescht" car stroll. A similar event, known as "Wheels Of Time," is held there on the weekend before Labor Day, Wheels Of Time focuses on street rods and custom muscle cars. Since there's interest, and it was a great day to walk, we're adding bonus videos today and tomorrow of Saturday's walkabout. Even if you're not a car buff, there's lots of eye candy and a glimpse at a 60's TV celebrity.
We'll be releasing a sunset beach walk video next week to mark the end of summer.
Awkscht Fescht proceeds supports the Macungie Park Association, and Wheels Of Time is a charitable non-profit donating to local charities, food banks and Vo-tech scholarships.

New for August - It's a trip to Macungie, PA for a walkabout at the "Das Awkscht Fescht" (that's 'August Fest' in PA Dutch). It's one of the country's largest antique & classic car shows. We stroll past cars from the early 1900's to today's classics.
On August 19, Ms. Pearl goes to Lititz PA to greet everyone at an outdoor Art Show.

We'll be back with new videos tomorrow. We visited the Kutztown Folk Festival today and did a lot of walking - enough for three 20+ minute walks that we will have throughout this week. In mid-July we'll be back with Pearl for a Road-Trip-walk in Jim Thorpe, PA, a fun town to visit! And in August, we'll have a sunset walk on the beach for you.
We've made some changes in our approach and we hope you'll enjoy the videos! See you Tuesday!

Walk After Dinner
We'll be taking a break with posting new content in June. We'll be back in July, and the plan will be to release a brand new walk at the start of each month. We'll focus on walks with Pearl as well as other walks in interesting places -- thanks for waiting for me to finish my audiobook walk series. We may shift our focus a little as I want to grow the channel's subscribers and views. I don't need to be perfect, but I can be better.
In the meantime, June will feature the four most-viewed videos on Walk After Dinner. They're each different, but are among my favorites as well -- (teasers in the slideshow). Look for a new walk on Monday, July 1. Thanks to everyone for the past year!!
