Hello everyone! My name is Katrina. I am a 40 year old mother, wife, friend, and lover of all things food. Cooking is a passion of mine that I discovered after becoming a mom in my 20s. My goal was to become a great cook for him, expand his pallet at a young age, teach him all the things beautiful in food. Little did I know, he would be as picky of an eater as I was as a child! I went to college in my late 20s and received a degree in Culinary Arts. As I ventured into restaurants, I quickly discovered that my passion for cooking was more evident when I was cooking for loved ones. I left the restaurant industry and took a chance on a less desirable industry to most, but beneficial in other ways. I love to spend my time outside of work being creative in the kitchen while feeding the people I love. As much as I love cooking for my family, I most definitely love a good meal from a great restaurant, food truck, corner shop or a friend’s home. It is a joy for me to be able to share this with you, in this community!
