Hey All! Just wanted to give a quick channel update! TL:DR, Keystone Wilds is now a biweekly series!

As you likely have noticed, uploads have slowed down a fair bit (biweekly from weekly). I really do hate to have to slow down the content, however, it ultimately was necessary to avoid both burnout as well as limit stress.

Normally I’m the kind of person to say “just power through” in these scenarios, and realistically this mindset isn’t even wrong, however I would like to take my content to the next level! Weekly content did not allow me to improve my editing, comedic timing, voiceovers, etc. With more time to edit and learn different tricks, I am able to innovate and improve the content.

As you likely have noticed, my videos, especially when compared to other planet zoo creators (which is not an attack!) are very highly edited. This naturally means the content takes longer to produce, and by making weekly videos I was cutting into the time I would take to build the actual habitats to edit longer intros, rinse and repeat😅

Long story short, it got to be a lot, it was very stressful, and I wasn’t improving. I can handle the stress, because trust me you don’t know how good it feels to hit “publish” at 5am after a long night editing. It seriously is the best. However, what I can’t deal with is the lack of innovation, and going biweekly has allowed me to really expand my editing and PZ skill set.

I would like to make some smaller videos on the weeks we are not at Keystone Wilds though! But the main series will be every other week from now on! If you have any video ideas let me know! I love ranking things and tier lists are really fun too😁

Excluding Baobab Safari, The Asian Trek will be *by far* the largest section of Keystone Wilds.
