Yo quick one not a big wall of text like last time. Got busy these past few weeks unfortunately (if you look at a certain channel's most recent upload you'd understand why LMAO). But, I'm back on editing the MKW vid! I have a decent chunk of it done and its coming along really well. Looking for a release probably sometime next weekend. Sorry again for the delay, getting busy with extra work just happens sometimes. After that we're likely looking at a Splatoon video that most of you have been waiting for (Not Side Order lmao but smth else)!
HEYO HELLO HI! The worst gamer you know is back at it again with another update!
- I considered doing an update video since it could reach the most amount of people, but I kinda ran outta time since I had to get the last vid out. Idk if people really wanna sit through that anyway lmao so im doing it here.
- New vid went out yesterday! Hope it was enjoyable. Very obviously tried a new style with that one and I'm curious, if you watched it, what did you think of it? Good and bad are all good, I just want feedback since most of the comments were about my face reveal LMAO. Said it at the end of that video, but I want to use my face more going forward since it bursts the door open on what I'm able to do creatively for presentation and bits n such. Any sort of feedback is appreciated, just be nice about it obviously.
- Content is going to be more varied going forward. I said this in the last post, but it was definitely reinforced by me making the Pokemon video. I had so much fun making that (which I think shows) and with Switch 2 coming out later this week, I have more ideas that I think are interesting that I wanna do. Of course, Splatoon will stay in the wheelhouse, its not going anywhere. The next video I think I'm gonna do is a Splatoon one. But, the gist is it won't be the only thing I do.
- Monthly vids will continue as they have been. Although, I think the remaining videos for this year are gonna have either most of the focus or all the focus on medium to bigger projects. I like them a lot and you lads seem to like the bigger ones more anyway. So the schedule will stay monthly, with uploads happening at the end of the month. Except maybe June tho cuz I think I have two medium sized projects I wanna do lmao.
- Side Order No Damage huh. I haven't mentioned this outside of streams which I prolly should have, but I have been doing this over the past year trying to beat it. I haven't yet, hence why that video hasn't been made. I do want to eventually beat it, but for now its on pause/hiatus. Reason being that I don't feel passion for it right now. I think that coincides with a general Splatoon burnout, which anecdotally I know is a very common feeling about the game at the moment. I think instead of pushing it and letting that flame die out completely, I let it rekindle and come back to it when I want to. So don't expect that video to come out anytime soon is basically what that means lmao.
- I tried a thing where I was leaving the VODs of streams public so they're easier to find, but my analytics showed that people did not like that. So streams are back to being unlisted. As always, if you wanna see any previous stream, they're all in the "Live-streams" playlist on the playlist tab of the channel.
EDIT: Also added that playlist to the Home Tab so its easier to access!
- And yes, I heard the comments on the Two Splatoon Games at the Same Time vid and I'll be ATTEMPTING both Octo Expansion and Side Order at the same time, over this week. No promises on beating it or it being made into a video, but I do wanna try it, even if it seems not doable LOL

Heyo time for the awesome "where have you been kacero you posted a short or something" type post. If you said that, you'd be correct and congrats im happy for you. If you didnt, well here's the plan.
I've been doing a lot of thinking and reflecting, while also being busy with other work. So that answers where I've been. Not much else to it.
Most of you know that I stream my recording sessions, which then get turned into full videos. The problem: I haven't been streaming. Which means no videos. I tried doing a stream schedule, but ultimately that failed as my weeks are not predictable of when I'll actually be able to stream. So we're doing away with that and going back to "streaming when I get the chance." Part of the reason this was inconsistent before is because I have had a mental block of "I can't stream after X time because people won't be able to make it." Limiting my streaming availability severely and slowing the production of videos. I am now switching to a mentality of "I will stream WHENEVER I am able to." Regardless of anybody else. The important thing I've realised is that while I really appreciate you guys coming to the streams. At the end of the day, I am a YouTuber first, streamer second. And I need to set my priorities in that order cuz videos need to get done.
So, where does that leave us?
Well streams are coming back again, but there won't be any predictable schedule. I need to do what times are convenient and work for me, which is probably how it should have always been. This will probably manifest in more streams being late at night since that's when I have the most free time. Dual streaming (Here and over on twitch dot tv slash kacero_) will also continue to be a thing.
Tomorrow I will continue streaming the winning with every weapon kit in splatoon 3 video. And following that, I will be doing a Pokemon challenge that I've wanted to do for a long time. With the recent Legends ZA reveal, its finally the right time to try it! Going forward, I want there to also be more diversity with the games I cover on this channel. I'll stick to Nintendo since that's my wheelhouse, but I wanna try more challenges in games like Pokemon and Mario. If that's not your thing, dw because Splatoon isn't going anywhere. Its just a thing where I can't keep doing exclusively Splatoon forever as I only have so many ideas. Also going off of the last post, this is a part of making 2025 the year where I push myself out of comfort zone. Its happening in all aspect, lads!

VIDEOS: Unfortunately as you can guess at this point, no new video for the end of December. HOWEVER, that is because I pushed that video to start January off strong! The video is already 100% done and scheduled to go out mid-January! This will give me time to start and get a good ways into editing the next video for February. Because my aim for 2025 is a monthly consistency which I feel is very doable. And I think this will put me in a good spot to achieve that goal. I have some other stuff in mind that I want to try next year, especially with the Switch 2 coming out, that I won't tell you about, but stay on the look out for when those end up happening!
STREAMING: As for streaming, I've been really enjoying multi-streaming the challenges we do on both YouTube and Twitch, so I'll continue doing just that. Although, I'm going to make an effort to stream additional content that may or may not be video related exclusively on Twitch. Because I'd like to have more of a presence over there in 2025. Obviously, the YouTube side of things won't be going anywhere, there'll just be more streams over on Twitch instead of here!
REFLECTION/GOALS: Overall, I'm happy with the videos I've made in 2024. But, I feel like my massive success in 2023 made me complacent this year to where I kinda did more of the same thing, expecting the same success, and I think people can feel that. In both my personal life and online, 2025 is shaping up to a year where I really step out of my comfort zone and push myself in all aspects. So, I'd like my 2025 content to reflect that. With the January video done, I've already made changes in that video's style in the direction I'd like to head in. It won't be a drastic "all at once" type of change, but more so a gradual change that'll happen with every video. If you're curious cuz this is all kinda vague, one change is the addition of learning a new skill. As I started learning Adobe After Effects (aka motion graphics) in the creation of this video. Its some basic stuff, but you gotta start somewhere!
I wanna bring back the mentality I had in 2020/2021 where I was constantly learning new things and changing with every video. Cuz especially in 2024, I don't feel like I learned a single new thing in the context of creating my content. And that's the main thing I wanna change for 2025.
But anyway,
