Educational video game music analysis with instrument visualizations made with the intended samples
Are you curious about how your favorite composers build their songs? Well, say no more. Let's embark together on a quest to uncover the blocks that make up a song; whether a noisy rock track or the sweeping orchestral compositions used in our favorite media soundtracks. I intend to dig as much of the original sounds and techniques used by composers and sound designers.
Having a background in music and audio production combined with the access to information on how composers use the tools of the trade and instrument lists we will be analyzing how songs were made and speculate what is the origin of the sounds we hear.
I hope we can learn and gain an even more in depth appreciation for music.

Visualizer Music Tracks
Somehow Visualizer Music Tracks returned.
Cordial Greetings to all fellow consumers of the VMT content. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance.
In all seriousness sorry that I haven't posted for some time. Thanks to the support I have received from you I've been able to become busy trying to find a place to archive the blog posts and musical analysis from the channel in a proper website in case someday NIntendo lawyer ninjas or Youtube decides to nuke the channel. I was also working in some arrangements that were originally recorded so there was no accurate MIDI to be found and also external projects since this time of the year things get really busy. More visualizations will come soon.
I want to share the website experiment with you all where I will try to archive and expand most of the analysis made on the channel (for those who don't know under each visualization you can find comments discussing the musical and cultural influences for every single track). It can also be a place where I could talk about other things game related and discuss more modern soundtracks where a visualization is not available, or where others who enjoy these topics can contribute—or consumed by greediness and the desperate need for a Nintendo Switch 2 I just want to eventually fill it with pop up ads and products, so help avert that fate by helping with the channel and supporting (in truth I will be recommending some neat stuff that im sure you will like).
For now I'have been expanding and editing some of the original analyses like the early ones from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and I just posted one of the miscellaneous ones where I expand on the history of Mario with some interesting and controversial comments made by producer Gunpei Yokoi about his contributions to the character, just because we like to stir drama.
The site is called videogamemusicshrine.com/
Hopefully you can check it out and tell me what you think or wether it is functioning properly before sharing it more out there.
Thanks again to all consumers. To those who have supported and to the patreons that allow for more ideas to take shape. As always, you can message me with ideas or comments about what you would like to see next.
