- According to data from the Siberian Tiger Project, the average weight of adult male Siberian tigers in the wild is about 176 kg, while adult females average around 118 kg. However, scientists emphasize that these figures come only from individuals that were captured, sedated, and weighed directly during the research process.

- In reality, there are still many Siberian tigers in the wild that have never been weighed, especially large, older, and more experienced individuals that are extremely difficult to approach and fit with tracking devices. Therefore, the existing data provide a reliable average baseline, but they do not rule out the possibility that significantly heavier individuals may still exist deep in the forest, beyond the reach of direct scientific measurement.
