Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Daniel’s Parish,

Greetings in the Lord!

As you know, our diocese and its parishes have undergone change over the past few years. Change is part of the life of a parish and St. Daniel’s is no different. Earlier in August of 2025 we implemented the new daily Mass schedule, in which Holy Mass is celebrated Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:00am and Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Saturday morning Mass will only be taking place on the First Saturday of each month at 8:30am.

We now come to the time where we need to adjust the weekend Mass schedule. In consultation with Fr. Guida, Dc. Celentano, and Kathy Knittel, the parish Family Faith Formation Director, it was decided that the Saturday evening anticipated Mass remain at 4:00pm The two current Sunday Mass times will combine into a single Sunday Mass celebrated at 10:30am starting the weekend of September 6th/7th. This new Mass time will allow Faith Formation Classes and other parish activities to occur around the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist, which is the “source and summit” of all we do in the Roman Catholic Church!

This Mass time change will benefit our current and new families, which we hope to attract to the parish by allowing Faith Formation and other parish functions to occur around the Sunday Liturgy. I think you will find that combining the two Masses will increase participation and offer a lively Spirit filled liturgy!

I pray that you embrace this change, knowing that it will serve to strengthen St. Daniel’s Parish, and continue to bring us together around the table of our Lord.
