Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres just opened its doors this Monday! If you’ve been eyeing this resort, now’s the time to book. Rates are at their lowest, and they’ll only go up from here.

This is also where our group trip in August is happening! A few things I’ve been asked:

Cutoff to join:
March 1. That gives you three months to decide if you want to play pool volleyball with Kevin… or just sip cocktails by the water... and it gives me enough time to plan.

Voting for the crowd-funded trip went live around 6am, and you all have had me cracking up ever since. The comments you’re leaving are truly gold.

First of all, as a certified introvert, I am dying at how many of you want more info about joining us. I feel slightly better knowing you’re probably signing up for Kevin, which is perfect, because he can chat with everyone while I run away and hide. Plus, I just know you're only going because you want him to grab your morning coffee 😉

And the people declining “with regrets” like I sent out wedding invitations? I cannot stop laughing. You all are unhinged and I love it.

In the early voting, there was one clear resort winner… but now two are officially neck and neck. The Daily vs. Condensed vlog vote, however, is not close at all.

This is so much fun, and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out!

Anyway… it’s LAST CALL for the crowd-funded trip! Today’s the final day to jump in... so procrastinators, this is your time to shine!

I’ve picked out three amazing resorts in Cancun, and honestly, I’d be thrilled with any of them… which makes it even more exciting to see where you decide to send us! I had a dozen people do early voting to test the form, and right now the votes are pretty clearly favoring one resort! I need to think about live streaming or vlogging the results, so you can experience it along with us!

For everyone who’s already donated: keep an eye on your inbox! The survey link goes out Monday, and the faster you return it, the faster we’ll know where we’re headed!

Quick rundown:
▪ Donors will choose which Cancun resort we visit in August 2026
▪ Donors will decide the vlog format (daily or condensed)
▪ Donors will have the chance to join us on this trip!
▪ $25 = 1 vote, but since it’s my birthday month, I’m doubling the vote count!
So $25 = 2 votes, and the birthday special $40 = 4 votes!
▪ There’s no limit to how many votes you can have
▪ Voting will happen via email survey once donations close
▪ No one is required to contribute... it’s all just for fun!
