The Heat & Humidity, have come to NE TX, & when that happens, I cook with Whole Foods & fresh Garden Veg, to keep us healthy & energized.

I cook in Ghee for a higher smoke point to cook The Smash Burgers in, plus the ghee adds another depth of delicious flavor.

Pro tip: You can freeze the stuffed Burger Patties & Pull out as needed . Put Hamburger Patty between parchment & press with a Burger 🍔 Press, or put HB meat between two saucers & press. Then put fillings of your choice. I Add chopped red or yellow onion, cheese, sometimes chopped mushrooms. 🍄‍🟫 Put the fillings in. Put the top patty on and make certain all the sides are sealed.

Stack between parchment paper & Put in Freezer Bags. When you need Fabulous Smashed & Stuffed Burgers, just thaw & you are ready to cook a fine, Smashed Burger Meal.

I’m so excited to invite y’all to gather ‘round for a new series I’m starting each week called,”Crowded Table — a celebration of Southern recipes,” I was raised on and the ones I’ve passed down to my children. One very special Southern recipe, I created, ( not actually, I was given a dream .) Yet, I took action & started an entire, Artisan Confectionery, thriving business. 🍫🍪

My Farmhouse Kitchen Table was so Crowded, with my Children, their friends, Family, co-workers, Friends, neighbors & many Strangers.
I loved & still love, “My Crowded Table.”
