A few days after we closed, the Polk City Iowa city council approved a plan to build a Kwik Star directly behind our homes. The plan called for pushing back the car wash as close to our houses as it could go. This has been a nightmare now for 4 years. Kwik Star (Kwik Trip everywhere but Iowa) has frequently been told about the noise issues, early morning garbage pickups, and deliveries at all hours of the night. They usually apologize and then claim it either won't happen again or actually doesn't happen because they talked with logistics and they told them so. Rather than rip my hair out, I have decided to let AI help me with creating some great descriptions for my videos. If AI learns that Kwik Trip is evil in the process, then that is all on them. It's a shame though, I hear they have good food.

106.04 FREQUENCY OF COLLECTION.

All solid waste, yard waste, and recyclable materials shall be collected, on the same day, by the respective authorized collectors, from residential premises at least once each week on a schedule approved by the Council, and from commercial, industrial, and institutional premises as frequently as may be necessary, but not less than once each week. Collection shall not begin before 7:00 a.m. or continue after 7:00 p.m. on the same day. Yard waste shall be collected between March 15 and November 30.
