After a month of my package getting rerouted to Alaska, I was finally able to obtain the last piece to my Last Knight on Earth Bane build-a-figure. I’ve been putting this particular figure together over the course of the past year… The Wonder Woman piece was pricey! I am clearly hooked on completing these things. I think the next one to finish will be either Colossus or the horse. 🐎

PVE, PVP, 5V5 multiplayer these are all acronyms and terms that tell me not to buy a video game. If anyone told me I’d grow to loathe online multiplayer games when I was 14, I would have thought that you were joking. But the reality rings true: I tend to play games to escape reality— and people, in a way.

Watching this episode of Trailer Park Boys when Ricky had a choice to buy a 5,000$ trailer or a 5,000$ set of
encyclopedias for his daughter.

“You made the right choice,” they tell him, as he chooses encyclopedias. He should’ve picked the trailer— or at least a computer. Those encyclopedias were going obsolete even by then (in early 2000’s).

What a racket that was: the business of selling overpriced books door to
door to ppl who didn’t feel like going to a library. 📚

I tried to buy a Macfarlane DC Direct Batmobile from a Walmart.com sale— and they sent me a Batman ‘66 Batboat!

I thought about returning it but the boat is going for 100$ on their site (as opposed to 22$ for the Batmobile) and about 50$ w shipping on eBay.

Still writing like there’s no tomorrow…

My second book “The Program” from Psychotoxin Press has been delayed indefinitely bc the publisher seems to have shut down due to the owner being canceled by a small portion of the literary public.

A year of waiting, up in smoke like THAT!

I’ll publish it myself if I have to— it’s a fun read that had me and my girlfriend laughing many times as I read it to her.

Let’s take a moment to thank Youtube for protecting us from ourselves and dangerous art.

Every so often they flag my videos (often poems) as “adults only content.” I would call them “demonetized” but YT doesn’t pay me in the first place. However, it effectively limits access to these videos.

I have had some of these overturned. But I am tired of arguing w these ppl. I started this channel so I could post videos of me reading from my writing. And that is just not feasible anymore. Especially now that I know what’s OK today may be flagged or removed a few years from now.

I continue forward, writing every day. And I’ll keep self-publishing works. That’s the best way I’m able to get my uncensored voice out there (at the time). Social media helps me find events and submission opportunities. That’s about it. I’ve got another Tiktok page now: @Manzonifamily

They’re a headache too. But whatever. I have my 6 week old newborn baby. And the algorithm seems to like that. And I get to plug my book once in a while. It seems like they put up a wall on my book— not showing posts about it to my followers until I can pay for advertising. Which I guess I’ll be doing next month…
