SurrounDead has really surprised me.
A $12 game, made by a solo dev, that has managed to make a world with a beating heart. It has more depth than similar zombie games that are over double it's price point using what I believe are mostly free assets.
Bonus: It has a photo mode.
Probably going to be doing a video on this one in the not-too-distant future, but if you haven't already, it's definitely worth giving it a try for yourself.
