SNL brought me to Albuquerque. Coincidentally, my grandpa worked at Idaho National Labs most his life, helping make atom bombs and other weapons for human genocide. Describing what it's like when they tested the bombs in the ocean, they could literally see their own bones through their flesh.
His retirement experience: decades of fighting cancer, his final months were in a hospital. I took leave from the military, 30 days, spent everyday with him and my nana. Cried regularly in private, his conscious moments spent asking me to take him home, I could not. His "busy" sons rarely visited, couldn’t stay long.

This is what new mexico veterans get for seeking help at the Raymond G Murphy Hospital. VA police have violated my rights 3 times now. Disabled veterans do experience excessive use of force by VA police when seeking help. Only physical police attacks i’ve ever experienced in my 30 years in USA.
Made me a little crazy I suppose. Being treated like a criminal for being in a constant state of pain and anxiety. Add random unprovoked police violence, doesn’t help anyone seek help.
Should it be extra concerning, the same hospital “cares” for active duty Air Force. which side of the hospital has more cover ups, you think?

Microwave grain spawn update, 2 weeks old, unshaken, no detectable contamination.
Watching it progress has been interesting, mycelium definitely prefers the rice. Before eating the egg carton, the mycelium grows up to the edge of it, and starts to saturate the cardboard with water before it starts consuming it.
Should I shake it? I’m thinking I may not get it flat again if I do with the chunky cardboard pieces. But that doesn’t really matter for colonization… so shaky shaky may speed colonization which reduces time window for contamination.
Will make a video to follow soon, want to take it out into the sunshine to film it. So you can see it bestest.

Attached photos are small update on microwave grain spawn egg carton experiment. It’s going really really well. I just used the answer to the above question to check for signs of rotting or contamination.

I’ve used the black with big square logo for 23 years or so, time to find a new color.
If you can’t buy a new hat, it’s very easy to stitch rip the label off very cleanly. You’d never know it was there. But you’d still be in a black hat.

How would you complete the watermelon task from the very first episode of the UK Taskmaster comedy show. Like improv with chores.
It’s a YouTube series, fully available for free on their channel @Taskmaster.
There is a USA version that started much later. The original in UK has the best hosts, and the original creator is also one of the hosts full time (the technology interpreter next to the Taskmaster)
Great weekend binge, many many seasons available, fun to watch with loved ones and friends and discuss what you’d do in their situations. Many many laughs. Comedians from worldwide.
I’ve thought many times of showing my engineering solutions to these problems, and I still may someday.
Unlike Netflix, YouTube won’t charge for watching ads. Completely fee entertainment. YouTube will forever become bigger than other streamers because of this simple difference.
