The main reason the USB Loader video has taken longer than expected is the game save management section. I underestimated how complex this topic was and how much work it would take to break it down into clear, easy to understand steps. I initially planned to reuse that portion from a previous video, but after revisiting it, I realized it lacked meaningful information and needed a complete overhaul.

This USB Loader video is essentially eight highly edited videos condensed into one cohesive, digestible guide, which has significantly increased the production time. On top of that, my kitchen refrigerator failed recently, creating additional stress and unexpected distractions that slowed progress.

Going forward, I won’t be setting timelines for releases. Trying to hit deadlines has only added unnecessary pressure, especially with 3 wild kids. Instead, I’ll continue working on the video whenever I have free time and ensure it’s done right. Once it’s fully complete and ready to upload, I’ll make an announcement and promote it then.

December 1st was my original release goal for the USB Loader GX video to complete the main Wii U trilogy videos, but I’m still polishing things up and finishing. The new target is December 15th or earlier. Thanks for sticking with me while I crank through the final edits!

Pence Family Gaming

3D printing will be a core part of future tutorials and projects. In July, I dedicated the month to upgrading my large CR-10 S5 printers, bringing them up to 2025 standards. They now operate at more than three times their previous speed and provide a much smoother workflow. With these upgrades, I can take on large-scale projects such as full cosplay builds and other ambitious creations. One of my first major projects is recreating the original Xbox prototype console. It is still a work in progress, but soon it will be a fully functional, chrome-finished centerpiece for my collection.

Hello everyone, it has been some time since our last update. I had to step away due to an injury and subsequent surgery that required an extended recovery period. During that time, I reconsidered the direction of this channel and how I want to move forward.

Going forward, tutorials will once again become the primary focus. In addition, my sons will begin learning video editing by working on our gaming content, while I dedicate my efforts to producing tutorials. This approach allows them to build valuable skills for the future while ensuring consistent, high-quality content for the channel.

Over the past several months, I came to the realization that modern gaming often consumes time without providing lasting value or skills learned. With that in mind, I intend to shift the focus of the channel toward teaching skills that benefit both adults and younger audiences.

The first major project will be a comprehensive effort to update every console in my collection to reach its full potential for 2025 and beyond. This will include custom firmware, modchips, improved cooling solutions, 3D printed components, upgraded memory, and additional enhancements. All tutorials will be modular and structured in a way that allows for easy updates if a single component or method changes in the future.

All of this work will eventually be organized into a clear and accessible format on PenceFamilyGaming.com. Updates will be shared regularly as progress is made.

I would also like your feedback. Do you prefer tutorials with background music, or would you rather they remain silent so you can choose your own while following along?

If you are an old school Halo player, you REALLY need to try Delta Arena playlist in Halo Infinite. I hosted my LAN Fri night and we played it the whole night. Bringing back that Halo 2 feel is perfection. Even lit the LAN room like we are playing on midship. Please keep this playlist forever!
