I am Anjana R Menon, a Civil engineer by profession (Ph.D scholar at NIT Calicut), but singer and dancer by passion, hailing from Kerala.
I have been trained in Carnatic Music and Indian Classical Dance, from the age of five, and is presently a disciple of Mrs. Anuradha Mahesh (Carnatic Music)
This channel intends to spread the joy of music and dance by sharing songs and dance presented by me.

Gratitude to all🙏
Lord Rama is an embodiment of love, compassion and Dharma (uthamapurushan) and his story, the Ramayana teaches us timeless lessons on Adherence to truth, Keeping promises, Power of Karma, and Victory of Good over evil.
The Ramayana Series was taken up out of my personal interest in spreading the message of the epic Ramayana, through the language of Music.
Though there were several challenges in between,with the blessings of Almighty and great support from my family, I was able to continue the series without a break. I am blessed to have you all as my pillars❤️
My sincere Gratitude To my Guru Anuradha Mahesh Mam @anuradhamahesh4464 for teaching me several beautiful compositions of Lord Rama, which inspired me to take up the series.🙏
Throughout the series, I was blessed to receive lots of love and support from numerous people who listened and shared the songs daily🙏
I also received several suggestions on song selection and video presentation, which helped me a lot.
Special mention to my dear friend Prasanth @prasanthm9044 who actively listened and shared critical comments and suggestions daily, which helped me to improve the quality of singing, and presentation every day. A big thanks and love to you, chettayee❤️🙏

The malayalam month Karkidakam is popularly known as Ramayana Masa, the holy month.🙏
Often treated as a month of danger ( "durkhadam "), it's said to be inauspicious for good rituals. But in fact, the whole custom including Karkidaka Sakranti (cleaning the entire house), chanting Ramayana, having the medicinal Karkidaka kanji, etc. revolves around boosting the immunity and improving the Satvik element by maintaining mental and physical hygiene, to deal with the seasonal changes and associated problems in Monsoon .🌧️
Despite the "inauspicious"tag, Karkidakam has always been my favourite month, probably because Lord Rama and the story of his entire journey (RamaAyana) is so dear to me.❤️
With humble pranams at the Divine, and my music Guru Mrs. Anuradha Mahesh @anuradhamahesh4464 , in this Karkidakam, I will be presenting one song related to Lord Rama everyday. 😇
