Potentially controversial idea: I thought it might be interesting for Cassandra to be autistic with medium needs (also Im feeling Penelope is also on the spectrum but is high masking). So it starts out with her just drawing and stimming normally but the prophetic vision and automatic drawing causes her to have a meltdown from the sensory overload which is absolutely not helped by Priam yelling and demanding she pull herself together. Maybe she has difficulty expressing her distress which is why she just says too much to bear. Idk I feel like it works because there is a trend for neurodivergent people not to be believed about things which fits with her curse and also maybe that’s why she was a priestess instead of being married off which makes the whole Apollo cursing her that much more uncomfortable since I’m feeling parallels between that and the tendency of autistic people to be abused Though I’m not a fan of the whole autistic people are magical lil guys who have magic because autism trend u see in media so I’m a bit worried about characterising her this way, like the intention is she was always autistic and what it must be like to have these prophetic powers and not have anyone understand u when no one ever did before u were cursed to not be believed if that makes sense

Also also i've never made like a physical product before so idk how many designs i should have before launching (im not making them myself im using acggoods)
Here’s a lil outline for the first crew animatic with some additional setups and character moments! So it’s going to be set around a week and a half after the mutiny and supplies are dwindling and scurvy is just starting to show symptoms (they’ve had it for months but it’s starting to show more physically). We open with shoe guy harvesting barnacles from the hull of the ship and everyone is super pumped for more food, until they have to eat it. Shoe guy is like this is primo cuisine but everyone else is having to force it down. Might have a brief interaction between scurvy boi and beefcake where beefcake encourages him to eat since he’s recovering from his back injury and scurvy boi noting how the barnacle slop tastes like copper and beefcake notices his gums are turning dark but they put it down to the stress they’re all in. Shoe guy notices epileptic guy stumbling out onto the deck of the ship before being sick over the side, maybe another crew mate makes a joke how 2 years at sea and he’s still getting seasick, shoe guy encourages epileptic guy to sit and eat with them but he just replies “head hurts, sleep I’m need… sleep” and wanders off. Shoe guy asks the others whether they’ve noticed something off about epileptic guy and mentions how he makes strange noises and goes rigid during sleep recently, man bun says he’s probably having nightmares like they all are and to use the beeswax if he’s being too noisy. Shoe guy meekly agrees before noticing scratchy guy (whomst now has a name which is Theon since Olympia_raine on ao3 wrote a fanfic with him in it so congrats queen on ur name) is staring off into the distance and not eating. I like the idea that shoe guy grew up in a fishing village that might have experienced food scarcity so he finds eating to be calming, so he moseys over to Theon and asks whether he’s going to eat his barnacle slop. Unbeknownst to shoe guy, Theon is having a ptsd episode and jumps when he grabs him, shoe guy asks him again for his food and is called a greedy bitch by the others, maybe Theon gives him the food or scarfs it down and wanders off. Cut to Eurylochus approaching medic saying that he can take a break and he will watch ody, medic seems worried about Eurylochus because he has been overworking himself with being the captain and looking after the crew and ody (being more watchful since ody developed an infection, though that won’t be featured too much here), Eurylochus takes ody’s hand. Maybe he and perimedes have an interaction where perimedes ask him what exactly his plans are since he’s not going to kill ody to which Eurylochus says all he cares about his getting the crew home alive and then he will submit to being executed for treason, perimedes finds this strange. Later in the night, the usual loudness of nightmares mean most of the crew have taken to using beeswax to block out the noise. Scurvy boi’s back is starting to ache badly so beefcake gently holds him and dozes off, shoe guy is using the beeswax but feeling restless and turns over to look at epileptic guy who is completely rigid, arched off the sleeping roll and making scary guttural groaning noises, shoe guy gets scared and tries to wake him up gently, Eurylochus is trying to stay awake by ody’s bedside but keeps nodding off before being awoken by frantic yelling and crew members asking for his help. Theon is grabbing and throwing the torches over board much to the confusion of the crew, one of them tries to manhandle him away but Theon whips out a knife and brandishes it while pleading that they monster is going to come back why won’t they listen to him. Perimedes suggests to Eurylochus that they tackle them but Eurylochus says no let me talk to him, everyone back away. He approaches Theon with his hands raised and gently asks him to tell him what’s happening. Theon is in tears saying no one is listening to him and they’re all going to die that the monster will come back. Eurylochus ask when the last time he slept was and he says he doesn’t know. The ship gets jostled by a wave and Theon becomes more distressed before freezing in terror. Eurylochus asks him what he sees and he replies that it’s back and looking right at him before suddenly pointing the knife at his neck crying he doesn’t want to die like that. The crew start yelling and some make moves to disarm him but Eurylochus says no and to keep back, and to extinguish the torches. Theon is pushing the knife deeper and is starting to bleed, Eurylochus says it’s alright now the monster can’t find them but Theon is still distraught and becomes more agitated when Eurylochus moves toward him, begging him to stop because the monster will kill him. Eurylochus asks him to tell him what’s Scylla is doing when he slowly lifts his hands and Theon says it’s not moving, so eurylochus asks theon if he trusts him to which Theon says yes so Eurylochus asks him to tell him what’s she’s doing as he makes his way slowly towards Theon and gently asks for him to give him the knife. Theon slowly calms and hands over the knife before collapsing in sobs in Eurylochus’s arms, saying he should have held on harder that he shouldn’t have let go, to which Eurylochus says he did the best he could.

I've decided to change up perimedes bit where he saves guy who gets his legs chomped off to be a bit more action packed, so scylla is going to slam herself into the side of the ship after he drags him away and maybe flails around a bit before trying to relocate perimedes by shuddering her head and clicking her teeth (idk i think it might be a bit creepier if she does that and for some reason i always find when the monster doesn't move perfectly like falling over or crashing into things to be more unsettling) and then eurylochus comes in for the save. I also think it might be fun to actually see scylla in the full light at the end of the animatic since she's basically holding onto to the ship for dear life, my bosom chums have given some fabulous ideas for her overall energy like jaundiced eyes and irregularities in her skin so it's like kinda decayed kinda shedded with smooth bits like she hasn't fully shed her skin
