Notice how Paul used the word "bewitched" Why didn't he use another word such as slow to understand or even unbelief?

Although in context Paul is speaking of justification by faith but it shows what happens when we stray from the truth of His word. Orginal greek word for "bewitched" is "ebaskanen" meaning casting an evil eye or spell.

There is great danger when we don't live in His word and abiding in Jesus. We become spiritually blind, dull, complacent. Its like a blind fold over our eyes and we lose sight of the truth before we know it our enemy has us in complete darkness.

These verse comes to mind...
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105

There are many reasons why a wolf would want to appear to be a sheep. These are just two of the reasons; money & glory!

In my last church the Lord showed me the inside of the Pastor's heart (his true motives). A wolf is not going to say "Hi, I'm a wolf!" No they are cunning hyprocrites, it can be difficult to discern some are really good at it!

Glory...fame, recognition, admiration, etc..
