NEWS: Rolex SA raised retail prices for its watches in Europe for the second time this year due to currency fluctuations including the strong US dollar.
What does this mean for you?
In short, not a lot.
We have seen an increase in prices from a number of large brands in the last year. However, due to it's unique relationship with it's clients, the Rolex price hike feels a little less relevant.
Omega prices increased in 2023, if you wanted a Speedmaster just before the price increase, you had to act quick to get it at the lower price. But, with Rolex, unless you are among the shadowy elite of Rolex clients, you can't rush to your AD to get one before the increase.
Basically, the increase will probably increase secondary market prices to a degree but won't make your life any worse, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you
