Jay- enjoys bushcrafting and being in the great outdoors and Loora loves nature, history and follows the Druid path (OBOD). The sun came out today ☀️ 😁
The land is waking up, wild garlic is just starting to peek through, there's a green carpet of lesser celandine leaves ready for the sunshine burst flowers to follow shortly, snowdrops , Lords and ladies and the buds of the blackthorn are all making an appearance 🌱✨️

Channel update:
As we step into 2026, we want our channel name to truly reflect the journey we’re on together. We have officially changed our name to Anam Cara Adventures!
We’ve spent the last few weeks dreaming up what’s next for our channel and how we want to move forward into this new year. I’ll be honest, dropping the “10” and adding “Adventures” just felt right, afterall we love a good adventure and love to share our journeys with you all and it just sounds a bit better than a random number lol.
Our offerings to you all will still be full of the same mixture of -
Expect more vlogs focused on:
🌲 Druidry & Animism in daily life
👣 Exploring forgotten ruins & sacred sites
☕ The art of slow, seasonal living
This name change is just the first in a number of new and exciting things we have in store for AnamCaraAdventures this year. I have something brewing that will hopefully be ready to bring forth to you all at Imbolc.

Solstice blessings to you all 🌞❤️
We'd just like to thank every single one of you who have chosen to subscribe to our little channel. We've reached 100, which is truly amazing to us.
We decided to start this channel because of Jay's love of videography and editing it's his creative outlet where the awen flows and we've always enjoyed exploring the magical places of the UK, it's been our passion since we first got together way back in 2012 so thought that we would combine the two with a sprinkling of our love of nature and Druid practices.
What I love the most about having this channel is finding other like-minded people and being able to chat together in the comments and hop on over to your channel if you have one, too. With the quite frankly sickening amount of A.I. slop on the internet at the moment, it's just so lovely to find other people with channels of their own who are sharing real realness about things that we're also interested in: nature, the great outdoors, Paganism, Druidry , slow/seasonal living etc
So yes, a big thank you all for being real human beings too 👍 long may it continue ❤️ let's do our damned hardest to drown out all the sh!te A.I with real voices!

Last day at work today until 2026! 😁
I have an itinerary (how very Virgo of me) Jay's got some new filming equipment so we've been out on a practice run because I've plans for some vlogs during our break ☺️
As we stepped away from work and into our Solstice holiday, we did so with intention.
We banged our gong (echolalia sparked as a typed that 😆) lit a candle and I spoke the following words...
"Let's leave our daily concerns behind as we move into this time of rest, the work is done, the tools are laid down.
Now we return to the land, we return to the hearth. What was heavy is now gone, what was bound is now free.
In this light, we choose the 'now.' We choose the meal, the walk, the rest, and each other. We are here"
There's such magic in words and ritual, this small acknowledgement of the transition from "work mode" into a state of letting go of time and allowing ourselves to just "be" was so powerful.
I dunno about you lot but I'm absolutely buzzing for the Winter Solstice this year 🥰 we'll be heading off to our favourite stone circle.

We need holiday location ideas, please 🙏
My husband and I started our caravan adventures back in 2017 when my Nan and Grand gifted us their old caravan. She was an old girl and had been left on a site for several years and hadn't been maintained due to my grandparents' health issues so she was unfortunately riddled with issues, leaks and damp, however we were grateful for her and she gave us 8 years of memories ❤️
About 3 weeks ago, we decided that she wouldn't be fit for another holiday 😢 so we set out to find a new (to us) caravan who will join us on our future adventures 😀
Here she is! This is our new caravan, we've named her Cinderella because after our recent first holiday with her on return to storage, we realised she'd lost a shoe (jack pad) 😂 a truly pleasant surprise compared to the things that went wrong with our old girl lol. Cinderella is great, she's cosy, everything works, and she keeps us dry!!! What a luxury 🤣
So because we now have a reliable caravan we are looking to have even more adventures, so I'd be extremely grateful for any suggestions you all might have for us 😊
We like to stay within the UK, anywhere with plenty of history, ancient sites, "witchy" villages, picturesque seaside towns, awe-inspiring forests , all things magical and mystical etc...
