Once upon a time in Kunzum pass.
A girl dying of cold stood there to just to click a picture before this magnificent scenery as this could only remind her that she once stood on the pass from where her will was going to be tested ahead on the roads. Even when the blasts of wind told her she can't, she flew on her bike with her partner by side.

The number of cozy houses and the amount of people in this picture defines how little was Batal. You dont have many options here. Either the tent or a stone bunker that was way to cozy in comparision to the cold outside. Tents are fun to stay and you will find them almost everywhere in spiti but we would recommend everyone to stay in the stone bunker when in Batal so that whenever you remember batal, that stone house will have a special place in your memories.
This is the last pitstop before you leave for the most dangerous roads of spiti and the 3 major watercrossing that every traveller coming from that side is talking about. Batal lets you sleep under the sky full of stars and prepare you for the big ride ahead.
