My first Thanksgiving!
I thought I'd have a quiet one. All by myself. BUT...

Here goes the story. (and im posting it to keep a memory of my first Thanksgiving Day ever)

I was working for the day. We were expecting to go home early at around 1:30pm but unfortunately bec of transport issue with one of my patients, my colleague and I did not go home til 5:30pm.

After work, this lovely colleague invited me over to their house for dinner.

To be honest, I was thinking of ways to say no. How would I get away from her invitation? I was so shy to join them as I don't know her and her family personally. I felt like invading there space if I go. But there was no refusing her. She was persistent and so I went.

At the end, I was very grateful to have come and felt what it's like to have a Thanksgiving dinner. More than enjoying the food, it was about family getting together, being thankful to God, for all His blessings and guidance.

Her beautiful family was so warm and so welcoming that I felt very much at home.

This one for my books that I'll definitely cherish and remember.
