The morning felt slower and heavier than usual. I noticed that when energy dropped, structure kept the day moving — meditation and coffee in the morning, and a fixed eating window later. The day didn’t feel strong, but it stayed organised. I am happy with this day 🙏

Starting is always harder than doing.
The run felt difficult before it began.
Once outside, it felt good.
The body resists effort.
The mind predicts discomfort.
Most days are decided before they actually happen.

Hard to start the run
Snow and ice — slow pace
Didn’t reach the zebra crossing distance marker
Felt good once moving
Feeling physically strong - like in my 30s
One meal after fasting
Took whole-food nutrition capsules
Day off work today
Worked on a video for Ben Button Adventures and posted it
Time with family
Played with my daughter (could have played more)

Today I noticed something simple.
When I’m tired, I start making deals with myself.
Eat earlier.
Do less.
Skip effort.
It’s not lack of discipline.
It’s too many decisions.
Discipline isn’t strength.
It stops the arguing in your head.
Most people don’t fail because they’re weak.
They fail because they start negotiating with themselves.

Observation — Day 43
After writing Field Note - Day 43, I didn’t like what I saw.
So I went back and finished the day properly — body-weight training, then meditation.
It feels like recording the day is changing the day.
Instead of guessing how I’m living, I can see it.
And once I see it clearly, I adjust it.
