Welcome to SpareTime RC, I'm Al. Are you looking to see if this hobby is for you, then you are at the right destination, we, (you and me) will experience all things from RTR, ARR, kit builds, high speed on/off road, crashes, crazy off-road bashing, carnage may happen. Lets push the limit.
We will do in-depth unboxing, what to look for before your first run, DIY project, upgrades that may work for you and a few tips and tricks to help you get the most out your RC (diff/shock tuning etc.). I'm no expert but I hope to help guide you in the right direction. This is real testing and upgrades (modification if needed).

Well I have the new Kraton Mini 3S. Again I have been having issues with my laptop for the past 2 days. I can't get past 40% finalizing in the edit process, but once I get the issue fixed the video will be posted. This Is Arrma Mini Bashing Beast.

CHASSIS HAS LANDED!
It's here the 1/7th scale chassis for the VW wide body is now on the bench.
First episode will cover unboxing, 1st part of chassis assembly, rough marking for electronics, shaping of the buck.
What do you want to se more of in this series
A. Detail build process

The 1/7th scale VW widebody project is officially past the idea stage 😂. The check list is being done one thing at a time.
The buck is on the bench, the monster clay is here and the chassis is somewhere between Flushing USA and home.
If you have done a build like this, what stresses you out the most?
A. Choosing the best components (chassis, suspension, drivetrain etc.)
B. Choosing the right electronics
C. The first cut
D. Body work and shaping

Just a update on the T-1Road Demond project. Monster Clay just arrived, I think I will have to purchase one more . Removing and shaping the buck will take some time, I don't want to take to much off and have to redo the entire thing again. I think it is coming along pretty good, slow but coming along.

Okay, drawing the concept was the easy part... actually building THIS is going to be the challenge. 😅
This is the goal for the 1/7 scale build. Look at the curves on those widebody fenders—sculpting that out of clay is going to seriously test my patience (and my sanding skills!).
I want to be real with you guys: this isn't going to be a quick "weekend build." We are chasing serious detail here, so buckle up for the long haul. 🛠️
Chassis arrives soon. Do you think I can pull off these body lines on the first try, or am I going to need a lot of Bondo? 👇

Well the HoBao Hyper SSTE is done, it is now running the HW Max8 G2 2250kv combo. This is my first attempt to design a paint scheme for my HoBao Hyper SSTE Truggy. I'm not sure but this is my thoughts, if you are using airbrush paint stick with that even for backing. If you are using rattle can stick with that as well. It's not perfect but I think I did a pretty decent job. What do you think? Leave your comments below.
