We're Jazz, George and our twin baby girls Rory and Skye. We've left London behind to follow our dream of a new life in France and have bought a 200 year old rundown farmhouse in Provence which we're lovingly restoring to become our family home and gites.
We're documenting the renovation in weekly videos that show the ups, downs and reality of DIY, alongside monthly videos that show what it's like to move countries and actually live in a French community, which we hope give people inspiration that this is possible!
We're self employed, and every penny we earn goes into restoring the house as sustainably as possible. Hello and Happy New Year to you all! We hope you had wonderful Christmas' and New Years'!
Ours was lovely, ALTHOUGH we were absolutely knocked out with a crazy flu, while hosting Christmas for our whole family! Then George left for a big work job and everyone was still really sick... which is why vlogmas stopped so abruptly unfortunately, as it was definitely survival mode for a few weeks!
BUT, we are back. Jazz is holding down the fort for the next few weeks while trying to move the demolition forward, one rock at a time, so please wish us luck!

UPDATE:
As we navigate going back to work, we’re going to be posting a video every TWO weeks for a little while, and our new posting day will be MONDAYS.
We so appreciate your support in watching, commenting and subscribing, so we want to continue making videos for you (and to have for our own memories!). We’re just going to take a slight slow down for a few months as we try to get through working (which involves a lot of time abroad for George), French visa admin, planning the stable renovation, raising our twins, learning French, making videos and getting through day to day life here! It’s … a lot 🤪

We’re so sorry but today’s video will be delayed until tomorrow as we had an emergency visit to the vets yesterday after Blue had an anaphylactic reaction to something (we don’t know what). He’s bright eyed and bushy tailed now and a bit embarrassed about what he did 🫣
