Next time you’re in the mood for some coastal cuisine make sure to check out @bearflagfishco Crystal Cove and take a look at my new sculptures featuring a nautilus, a squid, a sculpin, and a giant lobster.
This oak tree is a combination of steel for the trunk and branches with bronze leaves. The contrast in metals and the use of negative space gives it a really cool look and I’m excited to do more projects like this.
I carved this unique piece of maple Burl into an angler fish, a deep sea fish that uses bioluminescence to lure prey. The fins are welded out of bronze.
This wall mounted sculpture features a school of hammered and welded steel piranhas swimming past a piece of wood. I saw a lot of these iconic fish when I lived in the Peruvian Amazon.
This is the largest octopus I’ve done to date. Stretched out, it would be over 12 feet long and unrolls its way out of a pool back down to the ocean.
