Did a little photo shoot with my day one. 🐾

He’s been with me since the very beginning of this journey… hospital days, hard days, comeback days. Through it all, he’s been right there pushing me forward even when he had no idea he was doing it.

Also… can we talk about how hard it is to get a dog to cooperate for pictures? 😂 You’d think I asked him to solve calculus. Every shot was “look here!” “No, not that way!” “Cash… bro…”

But in all seriousness, I’m just thankful to still be here taking these pictures. We lost a good one yesterday. It hurts. Heart failure doesn’t care how strong you are or how young you are. And instead of letting it pull me down, I’m choosing to carry him with me.

Today I’m going to honor him by living. By smiling. By enjoying the fresh air. By appreciating moments like this with my dog.

Grateful to still be here. And I won’t waste it. 💙

Man… today hit me in the heart for real. ❤️‍🔥
Picked up my turbo heart sign from Jeromy and I’m honestly blown away. Not only did he crush the design, but he went the extra mile and engraved my mom’s quote on the back: “This is your mountain to move.”

That’s something she always told me growing up… and now it sits on the back of a heart that literally represents my second chance at life.

Stuff like this means more than people realize. It’s more than a sign—it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, who’s watching over me, and why I keep pushing every single day.
