SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 25

What a week… Not many events, not many posts — but somehow chaos still managed to erupt right at the beginning 😵‍💫

If you missed last week’s wrap-up, Boom had posted on X asking, “Should I give up?” That was last week — but the support is still going strong, and encouraging words continue to flood the timeline.

And then, at the start of this week, after quietly renaming his previous music IG from rvw.legacy to legaaxia, Boom unpinned the three posts from his Instagram: two from Akina and one from the Top Form era.

Deleting the Top Form one made sense. As much as Boom clearly holds that role and era dearly — and yes, misses it — with new projects coming up, it feels natural to let new work take the spotlight. But unpinning the two Akina posts? On top of last week’s post on X, and with no new posts pinned on IG so far, that’s what really got people wondering and the theories flying.

And then came the bathroom selfies.

Boom posted photos from two different bathrooms (because apparently bathroom mirror selfies are still very much alive and well 😉). Two of them caught attention quickly because it turned out to be the same bathroom that Rikimaru (Japanese singer, dancer, and choreographer) had posted from. Some fans were lightning-fast in casting him as Boom’s new acting partner in some unannounced upcoming project, while others assumed it would be tied into upcoming music.

A few days later, the real reason was revealed.

WeTV announced a new reality show, "Way To You", with Boom as the lead producer, alongside two guests — Rikimaru being one of them. The show will air on WeTV on February 27th, and from Boom’s own description, it’s the first-ever live reality show featuring a Chinese–Thai boy band, following young men from both countries as they chase their dreams. Truthfully, the concept still feels a little unclear to me since different promotional posts describe it slightly differently — but it’s definitely a new direction and a big responsibility for Boom 😃

Considering he’s currently working on both Akina and now "Way To You", the earlier unpinning suddenly felt even more strange. Add to that a wave of reposted motivational and mindset content on his IG, and you really have to wonder: is he hyping himself back up? Is it a mindset shift? Is it just a vibe? Who knows — but there’s certainly no shortage of theories across the platforms.

It was also announced that Boom will be guest starring in episode 3 of "Yesterday The Series", which airs next week on WeTV. Another reminder that while the timeline may spiral, the work behind the scenes continues steadily.

And just when things were starting to feel overly serious, Boom uploaded a cute little short showing off some Jerry-inspired moves from Tom and Jerry — fully committing to the bit, as always. A small reminder that his playful side is still very much there 🥰

Meanwhile, Smart kept things lighter. He released a cute and well-made vlog from his Christmas Party in Shanghai — relaxed, natural, very him. He also filmed promotional content at Siam, sporting a casual look while chatting with fans who showed up.

Low Batt is currently sitting at a little over 241K streams on YouTube. What’s interesting, though, is the difference in promo approach compared to Bleed Cold, which had multiple interviews scheduled and released alongside the MV. True, we all had to go on a scavenger hunt to find some of them — but they were there. So far, an interview with &ChillMedia will drop on the 13th of February at 8.30 a.m. (Thai time) but other than that there doesn’t seem to be other interviews planned or published — at least not that I’ve seen — and it does make you wonder about the strategy behind it 🤔

Finally, Smart’s LATAM tour has been revealed to take place during the first two weeks of May, with the specific dates still to be announced once venue confirmations are finalized. Considering that visa applications can easily take up to eight weeks, one would hope that this timeline is being carefully managed so everything is properly in place this time around.

Some fans also raised an eyebrow at the promotional poster. NextStage Official chose to use a photo of Smart from his Top Form days and announced it under “Smart” rather than “Call Me CSNP,” which has typically been the format used in previous promotions. Why the sudden change? Nobody really knows — maybe it's intentional, or maybe it’s just a quick promotional decision that wasn’t fully thought through 🤷‍♀️

February overall seems to be a quieter month for Smart. Aside from dance uploads and promo, there hasn’t been much public activity — and maybe that’s why Syra fans have taken a stroll down memory lane. The timeline has been filled with old photos and clips of Smart from back in the day, a mix of nostalgia and appreciation.

Of course, the hate and hurtful comments have once again made their rounds this week. Luckily, it does feel like more fans are learning that not every fight is worth engaging in. Truthfully, the numbers in Auralis, Syra, and Betus have all dropped somewhat — fewer people to argue — but it’s still tiring to see hate, accusations and resentment fly back and forth. And from the bottom of my heart, for what feels like the billionth time, I wish it would just stop.

Still, in between the chaos, the theories, and the commentary, the work carried on. Not a packed week — but definitely not a quiet one either.

SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 24

This week actually started on a good note — but by the end of it, everything feels heavy.

Smart attended his After Party in Chengdu, appearing genuinely relaxed and happy. Smiling easily, goofy and polite as always, moving between games with fans (where his forever-competitive side really shows), fan meetings, and several dances, the event itself seemed like a real success😊

Boom, meanwhile, stayed active online. He uploaded another soundless short, this time doing hand signals for his upcoming song EVWU rather than Akina. Earlier in the week, his management also very quietly launched another Instagram profile, rvw.legacy, seemingly created to collect and focus on his music. Separating his acting and music paths makes sense — but at this point Boom has eight different accounts, which… honestly feels like a bit much 😅 He also shared another set of photos and videos from his snowboarding vacation back in January.

Still, despite all of this, Boom felt unusually distant across his platforms. While Smart spent the week dancing his heart out to what felt like every dance challenge known to man — and casually eating and strolling through the streets of Chengdu — Betus fans were busy digging up everything Boom has ever appeared in: short films, series, photos, even clips of him trying out as a hairdresser💇‍♂️

Boom later shared stills on X from last week’s photoshoot or MV filming — whatever exactly that project turns out to be — and also explained his new logo. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many different interpretations of a bird symbol, entirely depending on how each fandom reads it😅 I do wonder why he added the bird at all, considering it has the exact same shape as the “V” in his name, which makes it feel a bit redundant. That said, there’s clearly intention behind it — whatever the symbolism is meant to represent, and maybe one day we’ll get to know more.

He also slowly made his way back to TikTok with some light calculation work that turned into a cute little message — very Boom-coded, and a reminder of that silly, playful side fans hadn’t seen in a while.

And then, the mood shifted.

Boom posted a short message on X asking, “Should I give up?” Reading it alone was heartbreaking, and the fact that it was deleted so quickly did nothing to ease the worry. Fans flooded the timeline with love, encouragement, and support — and for once, it truly didn’t matter what fandom you belonged to. Support poured in, and #AlwaysWithYou quickly started trending.

Boom posted again on X the following day, writing, “I can hear, I can see, I can feel, and I love you🤍” Seeing that post brought a real sense of relief across the board — but even so, a heaviness still seems to linger.

Boom has felt distant on social media for a while now, even though this week was technically one of his more active ones. That underlying tiredness has been there for some time. In his most recent live, he felt different somehow, and many of his recent posts have been both voiceless and rarely smiling. It’s been easy to wonder whether this is connected to Akina — whether a darker role and Boom’s method acting might already be taking hold. That little calculation short brought some hope again, but after that post on X, everything suddenly felt heavier. Some fans are taking breaks again, while others are reflecting on these past months.

It’s no secret to anyone in Syra, Betus, or Auralis that the fighting has been nasty and has gone on for far too long, and honestly never seems to fully stop. Everyone feels entitled to share opinions, regardless of who it might hurt. It’s been draining, and many fans have left entirely or moved on to other fandoms. It’s hard to imagine that this constant fighting hasn’t been draining for Smart and Boom as well — watching fans tear each other apart while trying to work behind the scenes, and seeing themselves and each other become targets of hate. Trying to move forward in that kind of environment must feel exhausting, and at times hopeless.

All they ever wanted was to act, to work — and yes, to do so together alongside their solo activities. But fate took a different path. And this fighting isn’t just emotionally exhausting; it risks real consequences. When hate is directed not just at them but also at co-actors or production companies, it can make people hesitant to work with them at all.

And while Smart continues to politely acknowledge Auralis and SmartBoom in public, Boom continues to quietly view fan edits of them together — which, at this point, might be the one thing Betus fans haven’t reposted about him this week. Whether solo fans like it or not, Boom clearly misses it. And whether Syra fans like it or not, Smart is also viewing fan edits of them together and "still on the ship.” That alone is just some of the reasons why it’s so difficult for Auralis fans to let go — because Smart and Boom themselves haven’t fully let go either.

That said, fans are tired. The edits are fewer and farther between. Some are openly posting about hopelessness, some are stepping away, while others are asking everyone to just hold on a little longer — still hoping that one day Smart and Boom might stand together again, happy and relaxed, side by side.

But until then, the work continues. Smart will be at Siam tomorrow at 14:00 (Thai time) to film promotional content for Low Batt, and was also announced to have an upcoming Exclusive Dinner Event with Percy Official. Life, work, and expectations don’t pause — even when things feel heavy. Boom is currently training, and possible workshops or shooting for Akina seem to be taking priority.

And with that, another week wraps up — not dramatic, not explosive, just heavy, complicated, and full of feelings that don’t have easy answers.

SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir🎢 No. 23

Once again, a very quiet week — and I’m slowly starting to think this might just be the new norm… even though a small part of me is still bracing for a storm to hit at literally any second🫣

Boom kicked off the week by going live and eating his way through every vegetable known to man, wearing a noticeably less enthusiastic expression than when he’s eating or showing meat — or in the many videos we’ve all seen of him absolutely demolishing cake and sweets.

The very next day brought the big release of Smart’s new music video for “Low Batt”🪫, followed by a live stream scheduled an hour before the release. In classic and extremely predictable fashion, the live time was moved shortly before it was supposed to start. Still, Smart was buzzing with excitement and kept his energy at a full 100 percent throughout. Fans, of course, were also eager to hear more about his upcoming acting role, but Smart kept his lips firmly sealed — very clearly terrified he might let something slip. It looks like everyone will need to wait for an official statement. Nothing triggers Auralis fans quite like the words “official statement,” after everything we’ve lived through. but let’s take a deep breath and hope this time the statement is actually a good one 🤞

While many fans were happy just to see Boom go live, the restlessness around his role in Akina continues to grow — especially after TaiLai hosted a live with the two other announced CP's from the series. Boom wasn’t included, and with no solid news about his role so far, fans once again started asking questions, while others began pitching their own imagined storylines for him. Boom being noticeably quieter on social media lately hasn’t helped either. Some believe he’s stepped back because of hostile comments, others think he’s exhausted from preparing for the role, and some are convinced the silence means a surprise is coming. Maybe it’s none of that, or maybe it’s all of the above at once. Whatever the reason, time will tell🤷‍♀️ That said, two short clips of Boom practicing kicks and fight scenes were enough to dissolve a lot of the worry, and fans are currently praising his physique and dedication. With filming originally expected to start in January — and only two days left of the month — it’ll be interesting to see when more about Boom’s role is finally revealed.

And while Boom seems busy practicing how to fight bad guys left and right… or maybe becoming one himself, Smart has been heavily promoting “Low Batt” all week. Fans have kept the momentum strong, and streaming on YouTube, as of writing, is currently just below 200 K— so let’s keep pushing and aim for that million💥

This week, Auralis passed its 8-month anniversary — a day that was never celebrated together the way it should have been, but instead stands as a marker of how long this wait has been. It’s a day that makes it clear how many fans have gone, but also how many have stayed, fought through disappointment, lived off crumbs and "coincidences", and continue to hope that one day we’ll see SmartBoom together again 🌌🤍

This week also marked the end of voting for Star Focus’ Most Anticipated Couple of the Year 2026. SmartBoom held the number one spot for a long time — right up until the end — but the site suddenly ran into technical issues and extended the voting deadline by one day. When voting finally closed, SmartBoom landed in second place. Unsurprisingly, many fans were angry — no real explanation was given, and the whole situation felt messy at best. Another heavy hit for Auralis fans who had already poured time, money, and energy into voting.

And what is a week without a little delulu to carry us through? Fans have been comparing Smart’s current brown hair to his Top Form era, and with Smart working out with a private trainer again — plus that gunshot sound gimmick at the beginning of one of his shorts, while Boom is filming fight scenes — some Auralis fans are still holding onto hope that Smart might appear in Akina.

And with that, another week wraps up — not dramatic, not explosive, just the familiar mix of waiting, wondering, and convincing ourselves we’re totally fine with both.

SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 22

A relatively quiet week — maybe fitting, considering a new chapter is just about to begin✨

The week wrapped up with the final push for Thailand Box Office Awards voting. Every committed fan seemed to give it their all, and now all that’s left is the waiting. We’ll find out the results at the award show on March 3rd, and until then, it’s fingers crossed and deep breaths.

Speaking of intense, GIR has continued posting promotional posters and teasers at a rapid pace, and fans are genuinely excited 🤩 Smart’s new song and music video drop tomorrow💥 The song will be available on all streaming platforms at 6 a.m., and the music video will be released at 6 p.m. on YouTube under Grand Ivory Record. Before the release of the music video Smart will go live on Grand Ivory Record Instagram from 5-6 p.m. (Thai time)

Once again, the fan detectives were busy at work this week. Just before the weekend, sharp-eyed fans noticed something curious: Boom uploaded a series of photos from a bakery in Thailand. Normally, that wouldn’t raise any eyebrows — we all know how much Boom loves his sweets — but the date displayed in the bakery immediately sparked speculation.

At the time, theories started flying. Was Boom actually in Thailand while posting snowboarding clips and cute bear content from China? Was he moving around quietly for Akina, future projects, or even overlapping schedules with Smart?

As more information came out, it became clear that Boom had returned to Thailand on the 10th, traveled to China again on the 13th, and then returned once more on the 16th. In other words, what initially looked like a mystery turned out to be a very full travel schedule✈️

That didn’t stop the fandom from connecting dots, though. Headliner later posted a behind-the-scenes clip tied to one of Boom’s uploaded shorts, and eagle-eyed fans noticed similarities to footage Peanut had posted the same day. Cue yet another round of theories about Boom and Peanut traveling together. Since Peanut is no longer connected to TaiLai, it seems far more likely this was tied to a Headliner project — or something else entirely. Maybe one day we’ll know for sure.

Headliner later posted a behind-the-scenes clip tied to one of Boom’s uploaded shorts, but what they probably didn’t anticipate was the eagle-eyed fandom noticing that the airport layout — and even a crew member’s sleeve — looked strikingly similar to footage Peanut uploaded the same day. Cue another round of theories about Boom and Peanut traveling together. Since Peanut is no longer connected to TaiLai, it doesn’t seem likely that this is related to Akina. It’s far more likely tied to an upcoming Headliner project (given that both Boom and Peanut are under their contract)… or something else entirely. Maybe one day we’ll find out.

Boom then attended the MELA Official event. His casual beachwear look was clean, fitted, and fresh — but it was completely overshadowed by his second outfit: a deep burgundy look that immediately stole attention 🔥 While many fans pointed out the striking visuals (and begged for a vampire series), the outfit carried a deeper meaning for Boom. He wore it as a tribute to Top Form. As he has said many times, both during and after its run, Top Form holds — and always will hold — a special place in his heart❤️

But this also feels like a turning point. In many ways, the MELA event may have been the last opportunity for Boom to openly reference and honor Top Form and Akin before fully stepping into his new chapter. With Akina now beginning, his focus naturally shifts toward that role and story. That kind of goodbye and closure can’t be easy. For now — and maybe forever — it feels like the end of an era, one that was closed far more forcefully than many people wished, Boom included ❤️‍🩹

Throughout the week, Smart kept a noticeably lower profile. With his LATAM tour originally set to begin on the 18th, the cancellation unfortunately cleared his schedule more than expected. Still, he popped up in a live after waking up just before in the evening. He talked about his upcoming single “Low Batt,” promised more lives going forward, and — unsurprisingly — continued to keep all information about his new series completely under wraps 🤐 He did, however, reveal that he has started working out again with a private trainer. Whether that’s for an acting role or something else remains unknown, but it’s hard not to get flashbacks to the intense training period he had leading up to Top Form.

And finally, while today was originally thought to mark the start of Akina filming, it turned out to be for another project Boom is working on — which is still being kept under wraps. The fitting for Akina was done earlier in the week, but as of now there’s still no official word on Boom’s role or look. It really makes you wonder how long they plan to keep that secret… but I guess only time will tell.

And with that, one week ends — and another begins.

In some ways, this week feels like a turning point for the wrap-ups themselves.
22 weeks in, the story isn’t about clean endings anymore — it’s about transitions, and everything that happens in between.

We’re still carrying Akin in some way, and still holding onto Jin. And somewhere ahead, new roles are waiting — even if they’re not clearly defined yet.

Alright — now that that’s done, let’s look back at the week so far😉

Boom continued uploading genuinely stunning and adorable content: photos from his "Whisper in the Snow" photocard selection, a vlog from his trip in China, posts of him eating, meeting a snow-loving cat, and learning the S-curve in snowboarding — complete with the cutest panda accessories imaginable. Somewhere between bear energy and snowboarder Boom, the timeline overflowed with cute moments. While Smart was preparing for the MELA Official event, Boom also posted “E W W Y 🤍” on X.

Smart attended the MELA Official event dressed head-to-toe in pink🩷 Pink outfit, pink energy, pink vibes. He seemed to be having a genuinely good time with fans, and plenty of cute clips followed — dancing, laughing, and eating what was rumoured to be a very spicy soup. Considering Smart famously does not handle spicy food well, delulu detectives were quick to suggest that a certain someone who loves spice may have influenced his tolerance over time. Honestly, everything seemed to be off to a great start.

Then the mood shifted...

Amid the dancing and soft pink chaos, one announcement completely changed the atmosphere online: Smart’s LATAM tour was postponed — for the second time — due to visa issues, this time in Mexico.

While NextStage announced the postponement, it was also noted that visa applications require in-person documentation and interviews that cannot be transferred to third parties — strongly suggesting that GIR had not completed the necessary requirements. This only added fuel to the fire, as fans were already upset with GIR over how they handled Smart’s attendance at the gala premiere last week. The backlash was immediate, with fans posting and flooding GIR’s platforms with criticism. Postponing once is painful; postponing twice — especially so close to the event dates, without acknowledging the time, money, and effort fans invest — felt deeply disrespectful. While NextStage has later announced special benefits as compensation, fans are largely unimpressed.

GIR released an apology the following day, but unfortunately it felt like too little, too late — and largely copied from NextStage’s statement. It did very little damage control, and fans remained understandably angry.

As has happened many times before, when one side is facing heat, the other suddenly becomes very active. Boom posted on TikTok and went live on the day of the announcement, mentioning Children’s Day as the reason for visiting a buffet — while showing off a plate stacked with massive shrimps. Every Auralis fan knows that Boom’s subtle way of acknowledging the Auralis fandom often comes through mentions of “mommy” or children — and since we also know one very specific person who loves shrimp, the delulu practically wrote itself.

Except… this time, it didn’t.

Maybe Boom noticed the unusually quiet response, because when he went live again later (this time from a park), he again mentioned Children’s Day. But the reaction remained mostly muted. Smart stayed silent the day after the announcement and the MELA event, while Boom continued posting on TikTok and Instagram — including a post and story from Shanghai with a distinctly melancholic tone.

Across the fandoms, moods have shifted many times. But right now, something different seems to have settled in. A fatigue. Maybe it’s because so much energy has gone into voting and campaigning for the Thailand Box Office award. Or maybe we’re reaching a new kind of burnout. Not from fighting each other. Not from fighting haters. But from something deeper — and still deeply rooted in disappointment with the companies involved.

Honestly, even I caught myself thinking this week: “That’s it. I’m done.”

Because somewhere between TaiLai’s silence and increasingly ridiculous mystery games that nobody asked for, and GIR’s ongoing mismanagement and negligence, a new kind of exhaustion has crept in. Not explosive — just heavy. And it seems to be sitting, in one way or another, across all three fandoms.

Often, trying to address companies feels like shouting into a vast, empty black space. But this week, a few things shifted slightly. Smart became more active on social media — even on X, which is usually his least-used platform. Daily posts started appearing. GIR released concept photos for Smart’s upcoming song “Low Batt” and its music video, set for release on January 23rd, along with a short glimpse of the MV. The photos dropped a day earlier than originally announced. Whether this was an attempt at damage control or simply another timeline mishap… who knows anymore🤷‍♀️

TaiLai may also have noticed that imaginary chat logs and endless mystery X posts aren’t holding anyone’s attention. Whether they actually listened to fans asking for information about Boom remains unclear — but two days later, their Instagram suddenly filled with posts featuring Boom connected to his "Whisper in the Show" photocard selection. Still, no actual news about his role in Akina😒 However today they did release the series second couple "LittleAnton" which have gotten good reviews although fans are still questioning about Boom.

This week also saw a tired Smart preparing to attend the YU Awards 2025 with Fu. In sharp contrast to the MELA event, Smart arrived in full black — a striped suit with unmistakable villain/gangster energy — and instantly had Auralis wishing for him to land a proper villain role. Shock hit when Top Form suddenly appeared as a nominee for Best BL Series. This hadn’t been announced beforehand, and with Smart being the only one from Top Form present (and still unable to mention Top Form), it must have been an emotional moment for him.

After the award show, a casual dressed Smart met with fans, and clips quickly flooded the platforms. One edit in particular spread like wildfire: a fan telling Smart he “needed to have a boyfriend,” cut together with Boom’s recent TikTok singing “If I was your boyfriend” — conveniently omitting the girlfriend line. Delulu did not miss a beat.

The next day, Boom posted a photo from the airport, confusing everyone. Was he arriving? Leaving? In the end, it seemed he briefly returned home before hopping on another flight back to China — and then going silent across all platforms again. Many were left wondering why he had flown back to Thailand in the first place.

And while Boom may have gone quiet himself WeTV celebrated Akin as their most popular character this year✨

Smart is ending this week actively posting across different platforms. While it’s genuinely nice to see him more often, I really hope he’s taking care of his health — and not carrying the weight of GIR’s mistakes on his own shoulders.

And that’s where we currently land — early in the year, already exhausted, already emotional, already questioning everything, and impatiently waiting for answers.

And we’re back with the weekly wrap-up💥 I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and made it safely into the new year 🤍 Looking back at the last three weeks… a lot has happened — and oh, how the delulu has been flying like Christmas snow❄️

Smart kicked things off by heading to Korea for his CallMeCSNP fan meeting, and while he was busy serving full oppa vibes, Boom casually took a break back home — seemingly wearing Smart’s glasses. Or at least identical ones. Delulu alert was immediately activated.

While Smart was wrapping up in Korea and preparing to return to Thailand, Boom attended the Headliner Christmas Live🎄 There were plenty of funny moments, but for many Auralis fans the overall feeling was heavy. Seeing Boom there alone — especially in such strong contrast to when he used to attend these lives with Smart — genuinely hurt. After the event, Boom went live briefly himself, and his mood didn’t exactly help lift spirits. Before long, timelines were flooded with comparison videos.

Smart stayed quiet for a few days after returning from Korea. Meanwhile, Boom went Christmas shopping with his sister and mom — and that was when Auralis collectively lost it. Boom’s mother was seen wearing an Auralis / SmartBoom blue scarf. Considering how restricted any Auralis or SmartBoom references have been from Boom since the separation, even the smallest crumbs mean a lot — and this felt like a huge Christmas gift.

The very next day, Boom released the acoustic version of North Star along with a short MV. On that same day, Smart’s new song and MV were supposed to be released as well — but for unknown reasons, they were postponed to a later (still unknown) date. Honestly, GIR’s time management is seriously something else. Luckily, the haters seemed busy elsewhere, especially after TaiLai’s Christmas Day reveal caused an avalanche of reactions.

Because TaiLai finally revealed Mr. X, who turned out to be Phoom — something many had already guessed. But what really set everything on fire was the reveal of the first CP in Akina. It wasn’t Boom/Toey or Boom/Phoom — it was Toey/Phoom. Many Auralis fans were relieved, even ecstatic, while Betus fans were furious. And honestly, kudos to TaiLai — they somehow managed to disappoint even some of the most hardcore Betus fans, which is… an impressive feat.

The hype around Mr. X, the very vague trailer released on January 1st, and the continued lack of role clarity for Boom have started to wear on fans. While some (mostly Auralis) breathed a sigh of relief, questions remain: what exactly is Boom’s role in Akina? And the uncertainty is slowly seeping through.

Boom later did a short Christmas live while packing for travel the next day, while Smart uploaded some Christmas photos. The following day, Boom was seen wearing the Auralis-claimed CP ring at the airport and throughout most of the event — and once again, delulu detectives went into overdrive. During Boom’s fan meeting in Shenzhen, the crumbs, duo dances, and moments flooded every platform, and that only continued with Smart’s "Smart & Sweet" event in Shanghai. Delulu nation was working overtime. Not to mention that Boom and Smart have once again resumed one of their favorite pastimes: watching fan-made edits of themselves — together and at different events👀

Unfortunately, Boom’s New Year’s Eve event was cancelled, but a New Year’s Day event in Shanghai was arranged instead and later Boom did a New Year's Live. Between that and other appearances, Boom has ended up spending a lot of time in China for events and is currently overloading everyone with polar bear hats, panda knee protection, snowboarding clips, and peak cuteness☺️

Toward the end and beginning of the year, subtle Auralis hints kept popping up at Smart and Boom's events. Fans are used to see it at Smart's events but it's a little more rare with Boom. Overall, Boom seemed slightly more relaxed about responding to Auralis questions and comments and continued using the nickname “mommy” when interacting with Auralis fans — even if the company still appears to keep things tightly controlled, sometimes visibly watching over his shoulder when an Auralis fan wants to show him something. What caused this sudden shift is hard to say. At first I thought the company might have finally realized the benefits of having two fandoms instead of one, but considering how Auralis-related content was once again removed from Boom’s event, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Still, something does seem to have shifted — but your guess is as good as mine, and maybe we’ll find out eventually🤷‍♀️

In his first post of the year, Boom wrote “Let’s rise 2026 together,” using not only Betus emoji🐋 but also the one he previously used for Auralis🌌. He also posted F R N E W U (meaning Forever is right now, everywhere with you), which many believe hints to upcoming music. Boom went to the gym again (of course), resulting in another photo session — this time with no deletion of him shirtless— once again reminding everyone just how impressive his physique is.

While Boom was busy working, Smart was clearly enjoying the start of the year — kayaking, visiting a water retreat park, soaking in sunset views, and starting 2026 on a much lighter note. In the following days, many clips continued to be released from fan meetings featuring Smart and Boom mentioning Auralis, Mommy, Daddy, and even small duo dance moments — more than enough to keep delulu alive and well at the beginning of the year.

Smart then attended the gala premiere of "Panyi I Sea You", and although it was great seeing Smart in this setting again many Auralis and Syra fans were left feeling frustrated at GIR. Not only did he wear an outfit identical to one from a previous Shanghai fan meeting, but no proper schedule had been shared. Fans were left scrambling, only to realize too late that he had already walked the carpet or appeared in live segments. Many urged GIR to improve their communication.

Instead of addressing this, GIR instead released a poster teasing “The Grand Ivory New Project – Coming Soon.” And honestly… the feedback hasn’t been great. Fans are still waiting for Smart’s song, his MV, the rest of his mini album, and answers about the many “coming soon” projects teased throughout last year. Patience is wearing thin. Notably, when Smart was asked at the gala premiere about future plans, it was revealed that he has received acting offers, though he himself is still waiting for confirmation. Whether this connects to a possible rumored series Boom may be involved in later this year, or if Smart is heading in a completely different direction, is impossible to know — but it will definitely be interesting to follow. At this point, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Smart reveals everything himself in a live before GIR figures out how to log into their own accounts😒

In the ongoing competition of “most frustrating company,” TaiLai is still very much in the race. They continue teasing mysterious “X” figures, and in their latest clue post it was painfully obvious that people are tired of playing mystery games. Fans aren’t interested in another Mr. X or surprise CP reveal — what they want to know is what Boom’s role will actually be, and whether he will have a partner or not. Filming is expected to start toward the end of January, so realistically they’ll have to reveal something soon… hopefully.

Finally, there’s the Thailand Box Office voting, which continues until January 15th. Many Auralis and Betus fans are flooding timelines with appreciation posts for Boom (nominated for Actor of the Year) and SmartBoom (nominated for Couple of the Year). Far fewer posts focus on Top Form, which is nominated for Series of the Year — and considering how the companies have acted these past months, that honestly isn’t surprising. Every vote counts, and while Boom and SmartBoom are doing well and switching between first and second place, LINE votes remain low. As we head into the new year, I just want to say one final thank you ❤️

Thank you to everyone who’s been here through the chaos, the emotions, the laughter, the tears, and all the “what is even happening right now?” moments that 2025 threw at us.

This little space somehow turned into something far bigger than I ever expected. It brought so many firsts, so many memories, and so much love and support — even during times when everything else felt like a chaotic mess on fire.

Whether you’ve been here from the very beginning or joined somewhere along the way, thank you for your kindness, your patience, your support, and for helping shape this small but supportive community. This year wasn’t always easy, but you made it feel a little less lonely — and a lot more meaningful.

I truly hope the new year brings all of you more peace than chaos, more comfort than confusion, and more joy than exhaustion. I hope we get more moments that make us smile for no reason, more days that feel a little lighter, and more nights where we can finally breathe again. And I hope we get to keep sharing this space — laughing, spiraling, supporting one another, and occasionally losing our minds together — just a little more gently than before.

SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 19

Last week I hoped for a crumb we could enjoy without a full fandom explosion. Well… we definitely got the crumbs — and we most certainly got the explosion as well 😆

The week kicked off with Smart finally receiving all four of his trophies from the TPop stage. Once again, a huge congratulations to Smart — it’s an incredibly impressive achievement, and I genuinely can’t wait to see what the new year brings for him 🥳 Boom went live from the gym yet again, and at this point I feel like he should start giving us a heads-up. Have we officially made Thursday gym lives a routine now? Because please let me know in advance so I can pack a gym bag. This time Boom wasn’t just on the treadmill — he was doing a full workout, and honestly, the duality of this man is insane when you compare his intense gym lives to the TikTok dance videos he uploads later 😅

After Boom ended the live, Smart waited a whole minute — literally — before uploading a story of himself sitting in the car with a wink. Boom then followed up by posting a still using the same song Smart had used the week before, drawing a white heart and highlighting a very specific line from the lyrics. Delulu alerts immediately went into overdrive, and Auralis collectively lost its mind in the softest way possible.

The day after, Boom attended the first script reading for Akina and later went live again while eating. Boom seemed genuinely excited about finally getting a clearer sense of his role, though he mentioned they’re only about 5% in. It’ll be really interesting to follow, especially with filming starting in January 😊

Smart was traveling back and forth to Phuket for the #CDSNiyomJeansXSmart event. As soon as the event wrapped, he headed straight back to Bangkok to prepare for the filming of his upcoming music video the very next day. The behind-the-scenes photos showed what looked like an abandoned pool location, which immediately caught everyone’s attention — especially after all the recent pool content — and has people eagerly waiting for the release on December 25th.

Boom then attended the Thai Taste event — an event that, for many Auralis fans, has always carried enormous emotional weight as one of the SmartBoom events. Seeing Boom there alone definitely tugged at the heartstrings, but he handled it beautifully. There were so many sweet fan moments, including fans mentioning Auralis, “Mommy,” and even “Daddy,” which — indirect as it may be — still meant a lot to many Auralis fans.

After the event, Boom (unsurprisingly) went back to the gym and went live again. While he still can’t mention Auralis directly, it genuinely warms the Auralis heart every time he responds to a “mommy” comment — which he did again. Maybe that’s his quiet way of saying hi. He also posted a goodnight photo on X using the same 🌌 emoji he used back when Auralis was first formed, and that alone sent another wave of delulu love and theories.

There’s definitely been a noticeable shift between Boom and Auralis lately. Maybe he’s pushed boundaries and hasn’t been stopped yet. Maybe after the Akina live, the companies realized that support from two fandoms instead of one wouldn’t hurt. Whatever the reason, time will tell. What is clear is that Boom’s live viewer counts have been steadily rising and are consistently higher than the critical numbers from the first Akina live.

Boom also attended an event with Big and Anantadej, and besides Boom-and-Peanut events, these three together are honestly some of my favorites — the energy between them is always great. That said… the stylist once again tried to drown Boom in an oversized jacket, and I’m starting to be genuinely curious why. We all know Boom’s physique is top-tier, so there’s no need to hide it. When you compare how Big’s and Anantadej’s outfits are fitted to their bodies versus Boom’s, it honestly looks like he borrowed his big big brother’s jacket🙄

During an interview, things got interesting when Boom was asked how things were looking next year “with your partner.” Boom immediately turned to hand the mic to Anantadej, who then pushed it back to Boom. Normally, any question that mentions a partner either isn’t asked at all or gets ignored, but this time Boom looked genuinely excited — even if he couldn’t say much.

The theories are many: some say it’s Toey, others say it’s Mr. X, and of course the entire Auralis fandom is hoping and praying it’s Smart, especially since Smart previously said in a live that he doesn’t have a new partner. Whatever it is, it really feels like more is happening next year beyond Akina — but for now, everything remains tightly under wraps🤫🤐

Smart later posted a few photos from the same day he promoted his merchandise last week, along with some cute shots. GIR also uploaded a short Q&A with Smart, who — unsurprisingly — prefers sleep over eating😂

This week we also got the closest thing to seeing Smart and Boom “together” again after the split — even if not in the way we wanted. MELA Official announced upcoming events with both Smart and Boom in the new year and pinned the posts on Instagram. Of course, I wish they were standing next to each other in real life instead — and I truly hope that photoshoot outfit for Boom never resurfaces once this event cycle is over.

This brought back memories of Smart’s birthday outfit — a visual crime and haunting nightmare of mine, though at least that one had a theme. With Boom’s outfit this time, I honestly don’t know who approved something that horrendous. I really can’t see how they were trying to make a “beach theme” work here 🤦‍♀️ I sincerely hope this is the first and last time we ever see it. Boom is ridiculously handsome, but that outfit swallowed him whole.

The following day, Boom posted a mysterious posts with only the letters F R N E W U, instantly sending fans into detective mode. Many believe it’s connected to an upcoming song. On the same day, Smart posted what is, to date, his longest Instagram post— with pictures of him enjoying some quiet time in a garden.

And with that, we’ve reached the end of this week — and the final wrap-up of the year.

What started as something I did “just for fun” on a random Thursday somehow turned into 19 weeks of wrap-ups, with the week officially starting and ending on Thursdays for absolutely no logical reason 🙈😂 With December 25th and January 1st falling on Thursdays, the wrap-ups will take a short seasonal break and return on January 8th.

I won’t be tracking everything week by week during the break, but I’ll still post content here and there ❤️ I’m also hoping to get back into making edits again — I’ve been so focused on translating lately. SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 18

This week didn’t feel like an emotional rollercoaster — it felt more like an emotional horror train 😣

It actually started out well, with Boom popping onto IG Live from the gym and making fans excited. Smart appeared in a cheerful interview with Mango Zero. However, they only used Syra hashtags and directed all their fan references toward Syra. A few Auralis fans noticed, yet somehow this didn’t ignite Auralis outrage. Maybe we’re just tired. Maybe we’ve accepted it because Smart normally includes both fandoms anyway. Who knows. For a second I thought maybe we had somehow matured as a fandom — but then Sunday came and made it painfully clear that was not the case😔

Boom also did a live with Peanut for TEMU. Afterwards he posted two tiny (2–3 second) Weibo clips heading into the weekend, and at that point it seemed like a relatively calm and nice week.

Sunday arrived with Boom at the Scent Giving with Boom event. As always, it was heartwarming to see him with fans, and even after the event he went live again — back at the gym. Honestly, at this point maybe we should start a global gym club because Boom’s gym lives might be the only thing capable of getting me to exercise in the gym 😅

But during that live, things took a sharper turn. A harsh comment made Boom stop the treadmill workout and — for only the second time ever — switch to a stern tone. You could see that he had reached his limit. The live ended abruptly when his battery died, and when he returned with a second live, the vibe had shifted. This time he looked exhausted — not from exercising, but tired from the constant hate and hurtful comments he has been receiving for a while now and even more since the Akina announcement. He spoke more clearly than ever about things he has always been vague about, and it’s painfully obvious that Boom still hopes TF2 will happen someday — and that he deeply misses TF, the team, and everyone involved.

After the live, fans split into multiple directions. Some continued sending him love and reassurance, some understood him better, others begged for the hate to stop, and unfortunately some went into full blame-mode across all fandoms — Betus, Auralis, and Syra — pointing fingers about who exactly “made Boom sad,”.

The day after Boom posted a series of photos with the title "All I want is you🤍" and the day after that he posted on X:

Night
No matter what I do, I miss TopForm.
All day is TopForm.”

And once again, fans divided — some urging him to move on, others admitting they feel exactly the same way❤️

Since Sunday, there’s been another noticeable wave of departures from the Auralis fandom. With all the hate, blame, and accusations constantly circulating, many found it too painful and exhausting to watch. Some left entirely; others are simply avoiding X for their own sanity.

Smart, meanwhile, was unusually quiet this week considering how he set the platform on fire the past two weeks. Most of his presence came indirectly — from other people posting about him, promoting his "Call Me CSNP" Merchandise Album, or hinting that new music is in the works.

By Wednesday, both of them had once again gone to the gym and uploaded proof, and at this point I honestly don’t know whether we’re heading toward a Boom & Smart cookbook or a gym exercise guide 😅

And of course Boom uploaded another shirtless gym bathroom photo on X — only to delete it again. By now you’d think he knows how to upload a picture, and what happens when you do, so why the disappearing act continues is a mystery. This time it stayed up long enough for people to comment — and for Boom to reply 🤪

Somehow, lost in all the noise of the week was the genuinely impressive achievement that Top Form made it into the final rounds of three different categories for the Thailand Box Office Awards:

— Boom is nominated in Actor Series of the Year
— SmartBoom is nominated in Couple of the Year
— Top Form is nominated in BL Series of the Year 2025

Somehow it feels like everyone is tired, everyone is stretched thin, and everyone is trying to protect someone — Boom, Smart, each other, or their own mental health. I don’t know if we’re still in a calm-before-the-storm moment, entering a pre-meltdown moment, or simply living through another episode of “What on earth is happening?” — but whatever this era is, let’s hope next week brings fewer bruises, a little more clarity, and maybe — just maybe — a crumb we can enjoy without a full fandom explosion.

SmartBoom Weekly Wrap-Up: The Scoop & The Stir 🎢 No. 17

Well, a relatively calm week once again — with the Akina live, trending, awards, nominations, and Smart seemingly taking a page out of Boom’s book and diving straight into the pool 🌊

We started the week with the most innocent and down-to-earth moment: Boom standing like the cutest fanboy trying to catch a glimpse of Kim Woo Bin when he attended The World of Ralph Lauren Central Embassy store opening event in Bangkok. Honestly, I think two fandoms melted a little watching him try to get a glimpse of his idol, only to leave with a sad face and a pouty mouth.

And while Boom was busy trying to meet his biggest inspiration, Smart uploaded another shirtless photo — this time a blurry one from a pool — with the teasing word “spoiler” written across it.

At that point it felt like all fandoms were collectively holding their breath.
Betus waiting for the first Akina live, Syra waiting for Smart’s “secret” to finally drop (because what kind of spoiler is a pool pic?? Are you training for the Olympics, Smart?!) and Auralis holding their breath for all of the above 🤪

Regarding the Akina live, Auralis were completely divided — some wanted to watch, others chose to boycott, and a final group just wanted updates at their own pace through different platforms.
Come Saturday, the mystery guest proved to be… drumroll… Mr. X.
Yep. That’s right. Except for a voice, not much else was revealed about the actor — which honestly has to be the softest and longest-drawn reveal in entertainment history. I genuinely do not know what TaiLai is trying to achieve with this 😒

From a business perspective, the live must have been quite a shock — with less than 800 viewers joining. From a fandom perspective, everything continues to be confusing.

Even Betus fans can’t seem to agree on whether Boom has a partner, several partners, or none at all — and whether Mystery X will partner with Boom or with Toey, or whether Toey and Boom will partner up instead. Everything is completely up in the air, and so far it seems Boom and Toey have only read the script for the first episode.

One thing that is certain is that Akina is not a prequel or sequel to Top Form but, according to Boss, a completely new and original story. Which leads to the question:
Why promote it as part of the “Top Universe” with Top Souls known from TF?
Did they lose the copyrights after the WeTV AlwaysMore event?
Did they switch plans after backlash from fans?
Or were they just trying to cash in on TF’s success, assuming it would automatically make Akina a hit?

Time will tell when more news is revealed. But right now the company must be rethinking its strategy, because that viewer count was… critical.

Solo haters then attacked Auralis for not watching the live — even though before the live they told us to stay away. So apparently there’s no winning with some people 🙄

However, after the live, Auralis started trending #AuralisLovesBoom, and the day after #AuralisLovesSmart.
Even though it’s been 6 months and Smart and Boom have been apart nearly just as long — and even though the fandom has lost many members along the way — it’s still impressive that we keep trending for both of them and also for the second rerun of Top Form that is currently running.

But let’s dive back into the pool with Smart’s “spoiler” pic, which turned out to be part of a pool series of photos taken by one of the GIR managers. Two fandoms once again collectively lost their minds and TLs blew up everywhere 💥🔥

I don’t know exactly what’s going on, but Smart seems to be on a new path with all the gym and now pool photos. It’s clear that he has been (and still is) working hard on that physique, because it’s honestly an impressive body he is building up there… 👀
Also — the secret is still not out yet, and I’m wondering why they even said anything in the first place… Unless this new path really is the secret… although Smart’s manager hasn’t shared any of these pics on IG, so are we still waiting? 🤔

Boom also guest-starred in Super Thai Episode 4, where Peanut and Ninja acted as managers for him. Honestly, I love the energy and teasing brotherly love between Peanut and Boom — and although Peanut tried sending some love to Boom, it's very clear that only one person can send Boom “jub mwah.”

Smart later posted on X — one of his least-used platforms — sharing an old Halloween photo he took earlier this year, filled with classic Halloween themes and of course… a black cat.

Speaking of black cats, Boom went to the recording studio and posted a seriously brilliant (and very Boom-styled censored) photo, leaving everyone guessing whether he was singing alone or with someone.

This week also had huge focus on award nominations from BoysLove Hub ENG (vote free here: boyslovehub.com/vote-agora), Yuniverse (voting coming soon), and of course the Thailand Box Office Awards, where the final contender list will be out on December 10th, with the final voting period from December 12th to January 15th. Every time these lists show up I am always in awe of how many comments are for SmartBoom 🥹🤍

Speaking of awards, controversy started when fans noticed that Smart’s couple award from Thai Update wasn’t at his home, but instead displayed in GIR’s office. Solo haters immediately jumped at the chance to attack Smart again, and even within Auralis there were arguments and hurtful comments thrown back and forth.

Sometimes I wonder… even if SmartBoom were still together, would we still be fighting about the same things? Because honestly, at this point I’m seriously wondering if we will ever get through one week — just one — without fandom wars 🤞

At the end of the week Boom seemed to have disappeared from all platforms (maybe the mosquitoes did get the best of him 😅), and even Smart became a little less active, posting a few TikTok videos clearly filmed on the same day and a wrap-up of what seemed like photos from the company trip he went on — going with a cat theme and even using the same cat as Boss did in the Akina live. Hopefully they’re getting more rest and recharging a bit.

Well… I guess that wraps up another strange, quiet-but-somehow-chaotic week in the SmartBoom universe.
Maybe we’re in a calm-before-the-storm era, maybe this is the new normal, or maybe something big really is about to drop — who knows anymore.
All we can do is hold on, laugh through the confusion and chaos, and keep each other sane until next week rolls around.
