Every Frame a Painting 🎨 | Meet the maestro behind the magic - Antonio “Toño” Ramírez - R&R's film colorist extraordinaire! ✨

Toño is old-school cinema royalty. Back when color correction was a chemical process on film, he was one of the only colorists in the game mastering the craft. Toño worked with Iñárritu (director of Birdman & The Revenant) & he even color corrected Amores Perros — one of the most important Mexican films of all time. 🇲🇽

Getting to work with someone of his caliber on Roots & Reefer was a dream come true. Even with the challenge of filming in grow rooms with extremely complicated yellow grow lights, Toño put his artist’s touch onto every moving image. 🌱
