Sometimes a video just doesn't do very well, despite our best efforts. This was one of those videos! I planned it for months. I sought out an inexpensive sextant and purchased it. I had to do quite a bit of research and build the story. But the reality was that very few people are interested in sextants and there's plenty other videos out there that teach those people how to use one! Anyway, if you're looking to learn a little something, here's that video!

In Maryland, our winters are unpredictable. Some years, it is cold, but rarely below freezing and almost no snow. Other years, it can be the opposite. We have had several years of mild winters until this winter. This is our third snow for the winter - and there's several weeks left! The temps won't be above freezing for at least a week.
Needless to say, this weather has kept me busy doing many 'non-YouTube' things! Stay safe out there!
