The TV retelling of one of the worst Dragon Ball movies starts off with elements the film sorely needed: investment in the characters! Love them or hate them, so-called "slice of life" episodes make up a decent chunk of Dragon Ball Super, so let's explore some of the earliest examples. Okay, I've put this off long enough. Due to the ever-shifting nature of last year's Dragon Ball Dissection topics, the GT-era kazoo intro tooted farewell at the end of 2024. However, I've received many comments asking if I'm planning on reviving it for the DBD Super era. Well, what do all of you think? Do you want a Chozetsu Dynamic kazoo to return, or would you rather it remain in the past?

Well, it certainly seems as if my suffering is never coming to an end, or that Toei did this specifically to screw with me. At least, that's what a lot of you seem to have been saying in my comments since last night! I've found your responses hilarious. I'm not really feeling one way or another about this. I had already been told this was coming while I was working on DBD December, although I'm skeptical of everything until it actually happens. Hey, maybe this will finally be the episodic version of this story that finally gets it as good (or better than!) the movie. Suffice it to say, though, whatever it ends up being, that is something only future me has to think about. And that will be a very long time to come. Right now, I'm hard at work getting the first Resurrection 'F' Arc videos ready for you. Suddenly 2015 seems a very long time ago, huh? Not so modern anymore!
