I will be forever grateful for this space. It is the BEST thing to have — but my real turning point was 6 years ago, when I got my first remote job.

Before that, I was commuting 90 minutes daily just to travel, and was always exhausted after my 9-5.

Now I work from this exact setup, run a business and create content alongside it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — remote work is about reclaiming your time and energy to build what matters to you, and for that I’ll always strongly recommend this path.

I don’t talk about this often, but my first startup failed. 😮‍💨

It was called Bounty Tasker (I removed it from the App Store but you can Google it) — a gamified to-do list. I was in love with the idea, and used it daily myself, but it took too long and required people I couldn’t afford.

In 2026, speed is the advantage.

With AI app builders, you can launch a prototype within MINUTES. That’s insane tbh. I’d build fast, validate early, and let the product prove itself.

If you’ve been around here long enough, you’d know that one of the biggest reasons I am where I am now is because I had my remote job as a stepping stone.

My remote job paid more than decently, which could fund content creation as a hobby — but more importantly, the time I used to spend commuting and feeling drained now can be used productively to create content, improve myself, and even build something bigger.

Not everybody can just quit their job to chase their dreams — I was one of them. But the right job catapulted me into greater heights than ever before.

I owe so much of where I am to my first remote job, which gave me the money, the time, and the flexibility to build an amazing business on the side.

For the 99% of us non-nepo babies, quitting simply isn’t an option — but getting an optimized job will be the first thing to help you get closer towards breaking the cycle.

To this day, I’m still rockin’ the same remote job.

Now the question is — will you start this year, or will it be the same ol’ same ol’?

As someone who spends more than 10 hours in the home office daily, the Secretlab TITAN Evo chair and OTTO Leg Rest has really been an underrated blessing. They’re of amazing quality and comfort, and the lounging experience as well as ergonomic comfort helps SO much between my work days and late-night edits. 😌

As for the Secretlab Magnus Pro XL desk itself… it’s just one of those things that come with underrated peace of mind. The incredible cable management, the smooth sit/stand action, the ever so luxurious microsuede MagPad… the tidiness of this desk declutters my mind and the quality of this desk reminds me that my hard work can be really worth it sometimes.

Home office breakdown 🪴

This is the place where I do my 9-5 as well as where I create, and it’s been a blessing through and through.

Next year I’m likely upgrading my Mac to have faster editing, but aside from that, the home office setup feels great as is, especially with the latest Secretlab additions.

My remote job has been a real big blessing and I truly hope everybody gets to find a great opportunity like mine as a stepping stone for their future.
