Some old photos of Boeing Plant 1. It started in 1917 in Seattle, Washington. It served as Boeing’s headquarters until 1965. As planes got larger much of the production shifted to Boeing Plant 2 in the 1930’s. The red barn in image 1 is being lifted onto a barge to be transported to the museum of flight into image 4.

Ted Williams played for the Red Sox from 1939-1960. In between his baseball career, he served in
World War 2 and The Korean War. He was a legend on the field, with over 1800 RBI, 522 home runs, and 19x All-Star.
