GREAT PRIVATE TLESSON IN THE SABRE

Sunday I gave another private training session. For some time now I have again been able to give lessons in sabre. Both fencers showed great performances in the lesson, partner exercises and combat.
Here are some snapshots. All pictures are cut out of active situations from the video recordings of the training.

It was a really great training session. You did a great job!

NEW TRAINERS FOR HISTORICAL FENCING

After two years of intensive training, the participants of our In MOTU - Historical Fencing & Sieben Schwerter) trainer training passed their final examination in the form of a teaching exam and received their certificates and diplomas in a festive setting at Schöntal Monastery.
With great performances and high commitment they mastered 238 learning units of45 minutes each in theory and practice. Several assessed performances were examined, such as source work, technical examination, didactic analysis, written theory examination, a written course project and finally the teaching exam.
You could be really proud of yourselves. As your instructors, we certainly are! Now it's time for you to start applying the skills, knowledge, abilities and abilities you have learned even more intensively and to develop yourselves further.
We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you again in our trainer network and at the next trainer meeting.

You did a great job!

We now have a well-proven and tested first level of trainers training, which we will be offering again in the coming years.

WORKSHOP ZUFECHTEN (ENGLISH SUBTITLES ARE IN THE WORK)

VOM 10.06.2023 in HOLTEN
Gestern hatte ich die Ehre einen Workshop auf der Offenen Halle bei Grün-Weiß Holten HEMA zum THEMA ZUFECHTEN halten zu dürfen.
Die wichtigsten Stellen des Workshops haben wir gefilmt, sodass ihr euch das Wichtigste nochmal anschauen könnt.
Es ist immer schwer ein Thema für mehrere Monate in 60-90 Minuten übersichtlich zu erläutern, aber ich wünsche euch viel Spaß
beim Anschauen.
BESCHREIBUNG

"Zufechten ist ein Begriff, der in den Fechtbücher der Deutschen Schule des 14.-16. Jahrhunderts fest verankert ist. In meinem Workshop geht es um das Zufechten, also den Angriff, in Form eines "Direkten Angriffs mit Häuen".
Ich will in dem Workshop allerdings nicht auf die optimale Bewegung selbst eingehen, sondern auf mögliche Lernfolgen und Übungsmöglichkeiten, um diese Bewegung vom Einfachen zum Schweren zu erlernen und zu trainieren.

Aufgrund der Limitierung auf ca. 60 Minuten, konnte ich nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt von 2-3 Übungen zeigen.
Es fehlen Übungen zum Erlernen der Grundbewegung, die vorher stattfinden würden und die nachfolgenden Schulgefechte.
Ich gehe aber auf die Möglichkeiten ein, solche Übungen zu gestalten.
