ok so imo

BEFORE YOU READ THIS IS NOT TARGETED I JUST SEE THIS A LOT!!

I hate when ppl get mad bc someone copied like a few things from their style and GAVE CREDIT like yes it’s annoying if they copy your whole style but if it’s like cc or transitions that ok bc that’s the best way on how to learn how to edit. When I started editing I took so much inspiration from ppl but I would add my own things and then when you let ppl copy some things it helps THEM become creative they just need that sorta mindset and if they have credits I see no problem with it. If they don’t give credits that’s a problem yes that’s understandable but you quitting bc someone copied a transition that you used in an edit is just dramatic. It’s like when your doing a project and you search in google a question and then you write it in your own words but it’s the same idea not like you don’t use google and you just think of everything yourself. If it’s just parts that’s fine imo it helps the editor grow bc they take inspo but if they do it continuously that’s not helping them.
