‘THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY’ is the first song to hit the #2 spot since I released ‘REMEMBER ME’ back in August of 2025.
I wasn’t even planning on releasing this song. It was originally supposed to be a collab with another artist that never ended up happening. I had another collab queued up for January that also didn’t happen.. so I had to scramble last minute to find a song for the album that would work. ‘THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY’ ended up being that song.

My wife gave me this book called Outrageous Openness by Tosha Silver when we first met. It’s packed full of wisdom but really, it’s always served me as a reminder that everything will work out. It’s a mindset I keep. To believe everything will work out as long as I trust in the universe and the path i’m on. Maybe i’m not seeing it all clearly in the moment. So I let things happen and trust that i’ll eventually see it.
