I've lost over 130 pounds after a lifelong struggle with obesity and a bad relationship with food. By changing my mindset, my eating habits, and staying consistent I was able to lose the weight and transform my health. On this channel I'm sharing my own personal experiences and what has worked for me, and my hope is that my videos can help encourage others who may be struggling with the same issues I've dealt with. I always thought change was impossible for me, but I want to assure everyone that anyone can change!

Yep, this sign is basically me on most days. I either want to make another Creami recipe or get help with all the work I have to do. 😂

I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with someone who was an inspiration for me on my weight loss journey, actor Ethan Suplee, who you may recognize from roles in Boy Meets World, My Name Is Earl, Remember The Titans and tons of other well known projects. Ethan struggled with his weight most of his life, at his heaviest he weighed about 550 pounds. His transformation and change of lifestyle is incredible and he now hosts the podcast @AmericanGlutton where he regularly talks about weight loss and regularly features celebrity guests who talk about their own health and fitness experiences. It was a real pleasure getting to let him know how much he motivated me, and I loved that he was so enthusiastic and happy to talk about this topic on which we both share many similar experiences. 😊

My first time being interviewed about my weight loss story!

I recently had the privilege of being interviewed by Kayla Cox on her channel Six Miles To Supper about my weight loss success story. Kayla's channel focuses on weight loss through intermittent fasting, something I implemented early on in the first several months of my weight loss journey and it was a big help in learning to pay attention to my body's natural hunger and fullness cues.

Check out the full interview, and be sure to check out Kayla's channel youtube.com/@SixMilesToSupper

Yes, I'm afraid it's true. The other night I wound up being shown on the jumbotron and I was caught cheating... on my diet. I'd just like to take a moment and sincerely apologize to all who were hurt by my actions... particularly my waistline. It was a moment of weakness and I promise this is not indicative of the person I truly am.

Testing out another Ninja Creami copycat recipe: Moose Tracks! This pint has HALF the calories of regular Moose Tracks ice cream and barely any sugar! The video is still a few months out, but stay tuned!

Experimenting with a new French Toast idea: peanut butter with banana. The pink syrup is strawberry flavored... not totally sure about that yet. Currently this is 6 slices of French Toast with a banana and it's around 600 calories and about 70g of protein. I'll need to tweak the recipe a little more more, but I'm liking it so far!

Major change is possible! These photos were taken years apart, but when I took that before photo, the goal was always to reach my goal and make a side-by-side comparison. Visualizing your goals and tracking your progress help tremendously. I honestly wish I had taken MORE photos of myself when I was at my heaviest, but at the time, I only tried taking pictures from flattering angles. Still, I'm glad I took the ones that I did so that now I can look back and see just how far I've come. It didn't happen overnight. There were many setbacks over the years, but I'm glad I never gave up. If you have a goal you're reaching for, keep at it and take things day by day. Stay focused, stay consistent, and know that setbacks will happen, and that's ok. Just keep getting back up! It's worth it!
