What is The Farm on Route 66 Family Homestead about..We're just small town country folk trying to live a good life - We enjoy our 14 acre farm and strive to do good things with our family, our land, our neighbors/friends and of course our animals.. Our love is Horses. We are NOT a non profit rescue organization, only people who try to make a difference 1 horse at a time. We love to rescue and rehabilitate horses that are down on their luck and find them good homes. We put God first and ejoy the journey as we live it! We would love to have you as our friends on the Farm! We release videos 3 days per week with an occasional bonus video.

I’m posting this picture of Kaci, Alan, and me because I just need to brag on our girl for a minute. Kaci, you have been such a joy in our home — our baby, our last child at home — and we are so proud of the young woman you are becoming. You are kind, steady, hardworking, and such a blessing to our family. In fact you are down right amazing! Clebrating you and watching you play ball on that court has been so special.
And honestly… it’s also hitting Alan and me that we’re getting close to being empty nesters. We love our time together, but we have also loved having our kids in our home. This season is tender in the sweetest, hardest way.
I also want to brag on the man I married. ❤️
This past week, Alan has driven over 24 hours for work — place to place — and yesterday he was gone all day, but he walked in right before the game so he could be there beside me to celebrate Kaci. As soon as it was over, he hugged us goodbye and headed straight to Albuquerque for a meeting first thing this morning… driving through a snowstorm.
That’s the kind of man he is — he shows up. And he puts Jesus first, then our family, and I have never doubted that for a second. And I love that!!! I’m so thankful for you, Alan. I love you.
And Kaci… we are so proud to be your parents. 💛 we love you with all our hearts! Kaci has decided to serve a mission for The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Where do you think she will be assigned to go? She should know near the end of February! We love you Kaci!
