This is Wil and Meeke's Culture Proof channel.
Follow this channel for practical wisdom pertaining to life and godliness all taken from the straightedge- the Word of God. Here we examine the intersection of family and culture and equip parents to make their kids impervious to cultural trends that are antithetical to the Faith.
We are unapologetic followers of Christ. Married nearly 20 years, we are raising six children who are discipled, trained, and educated at home. We firmly believe we can fortify our kids to live for the glory of God in their generation.
On this channel you can expect us to tackle all of the tough topics from a Biblical perspective. While we must live in this culture, we must not allow this culture to live in us.
We hope you enjoy our public content and our behind the scenes interactions with our children.
If this content is a blessing to you, please remember to like, subscribe, and share!

When people are angry about an expressed biblical worldview, it reveals an uncomfortable truth about them. Too often, Christians compartmentalize their faith. What if I told you itās all spiritual? Every way we live and the words we choose says something about what we think about the Lord.
As Christians, we donāt lean into the flesh and feelings; to the contrary, we rely on the truth of Godās Word to guide not only our actions but our very thoughts.
When I see professing Christians aggravated by the application of Scripture or annoyed that people actually trust the Bible, it makes me wonder about them, not the person trusting Scripture.
Christians donāt āhide behind the Bibleā; rather, in boldness, we stand firmly on it!

She was shiny and new and black. Sheās āone of usā we were told by people with influence. Sheās a chameleon. Sheās whoever she needs to be to advance her insatiable desire for fame and worldly success. She is at this moment right where she always wanted to be, NOT in a principled position of leadership, in the number one spot. That is all that ever mattered. Sorry for the old conservatives who were disappointed that Wil and I never wanted to work with Candace. We didnāt trust her then, we donāt trust her now. People who love herā¦keep herā¦we will continue to expose her and what sheās doing in culture. Sheās a trend. Sheās spent the last decade moving through the biggest conservative outfits and they let her because she was shiny, new, and black.

It bothers me that Candace Owens has brought her brand of belligerence to Faith. She sees herself as having been rescued from Protestantism. She was actually barely conversant on Evangelicalism before she married into a convenient belief. I mean honestly, inviting your Protestant friend to debate your Catholic husbandā¦then declaring him the winner by a landslide?? Her arrogance bothers me tons.
She counts on our lust for information so much so that we are willing to be perpetually insulted by her in exchange for it. What we believe as Protestants is not a departure from Truth, itās a return to it. Respectfully, the belief that one MAN reigns supreme over the Lordās Church is NOT supported in Scripture. Additionally, believing that we are saved by faith in Christ AND anything else is NOT supported in Scripture.
Believing in the authority of Scripture is not rebellion, itās faithfulness.
No one wants to divide unnecessarily but when bears get poked, they usually respond. Is there not a causeā¦unless we donāt really believe what we say we believe. Iām a Bible-believing follower of the Way; consistent with all that that profession describes.
I realize this post is upsetting and potentially polarizing, thatās not my intent. Iām just not ashamed to be Protestant.

About a month ago, we were appalled to hear Dr. E. Michael Jones assert on the Candace Owens podcast that Protestantism was rooted in Satanism. We responded in defense of the Faith. Dr. E. Michael Jones' team reached out to us for an opportunity to explain his position. We accepted. The dialogue will be out tomorrow. Find the Culture Proof youtube channel or listen wherever you get your podcasts. This was an important conversation. I'm so glad we had him on the pod!

What we tolerate gets normalized. Lecrae has normalized partnering with profane artist so now when Christians hear a song from him featuring profane artist with a theme of speaking of their success to their dead families there's no more push back.
When you see other artist like Miles Minnick who were pretty solid on doing collaborations with other Godly artist now following the Lecrae blueprint and partnering with the profane its easier to swallow because your spiritual taste buds have been changed. Lecrae now sees himself as an architect, but the blueprint is compromise.
Push back on these issues are worth it. It's part of the DNA of the church to contend for the Faith. Don't let the loud but unbiblical folks shut you up.
On this and other matters the Word of God is still the straight edge
2 Corinthians 6:14-17 NASB1995
Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, āI will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,ā says the Lord. āAnd do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.
And...
Ephesians 5:11-12 NASB1995
Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;
for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

Taylor Swift just announced her engagement to Travis Kelce. Sadly, she has practiced for divorce for quite a while. Many will rejoice that she is finally settling down. I grieve over the millions of women who believed her happy and perfectly moral serial dating melodies.
To be certain, until Kelce hits the six year mark in his relationship with Swift, he doesnāt have any comfort of commitmentā¦and itās questionable beyond six years. Taylor Swift is not now nor has she ever been a role model for girls or women.
⢠Joe Alwyn (6 years)
⢠Calvin Harris (15 months)
⢠Jake Gyllenhaal (3 months)
⢠Tom Hiddleston (3 months)
⢠Harry Styles (3 months)
⢠Taylor Lautner (3ā4 months)
⢠John Mayer (3 months)
⢠Joe Jonas (3 months)
⢠Conor Kennedy (3 months) ā¦
Donāt raise your daughters to date men or indiscriminately enter into relationships with men. Teach them to guard their hearts and trust the Lord for the husband He has for them. What does Travis Kelce really have to rejoice in? There is no uniqueness to his relationship with Swift. Nothing held or preserved for the one man she chose to say yes to. Contrary to popular thought, purity is still prescriptive. Marriage means something. The picture it paints is NOT try until you decide to buy. This is NOT the picture of Christ and His Bride.
