Hi, I am Kenny, TheBasicBrit and this channel explores all things TTRPG. With a focus on my absoloute favourite, Basic Fantasy Role Playing Game. I cut my teeth with 2nd Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and have been in and out of the hobby at various times, now i want to share my stories, opinions and ideas with other like minded people here on youtube.

Hi everyone,
Not the post I would have liked to be writing but there is a tiny bit of good news. First the bad, no new video this week as I have an appointment at an orthapedic clinic after rupturing pretty much all of my ligaments in my right foot and I am in what I would describe as a shit load of pain.
Now the good! I am so thankful to all of my new subscribers and my faithful originals too, you motivate me to keep on doing this despite real life sometimes getting in the way, I really fucking enjoy it and want to do more.
While my foot is getting better I didn't want to be completely lazy and decided to set up an Etsy shop for the channel with what I think are really cool and understated simple designs themed around D&D. thebasicbrit.etsy.com/ check it out and let me know what you think.

Tonight the party fought Carniverous Apes, subdued a group of Hobgoblins through surprise and martial finesse and then made a hasty retreat from a pack of rampaging Gnolls. It was a great session highlighted with some clever party tactics... Cant wait for next week, keep a look out for the session recaps where I retell the stories of my players adventures beneath the ruins of the Olde Island Fortress
