What it is:

Jum'ah prayer is a special congregational prayer held on Fridays, instead of the regular Dhuhr prayer. 

Obligation:

It is an obligatory act for adult male Muslims, while women and children are encouraged to participate but are not under the same obligation. 

Timing:

It is performed during the Dhuhr time, which is the midday prayer time. 

Khutbah:

The prayer is preceded by a sermon (khutbah) delivered by the Imam, which provides guidance and moral teachings. 

Rakas:

The prayer consists of two rak'ahs, unlike the four-rak'ah Dhuhr prayer. 

Significance:

Jum'ah prayer is considered one of the most important Islamic rituals and a day of assembly for Muslims. 

Sunnah:

It is recommended to take a bath, dress in clean clothes, and use perfume before attending Jum'ah prayer. 

Duas:

It is recommended to recite Surah al-Rahman (No. 55) after the Fajr Prayer on Fridays and to say, لَا بِشَيْءٍ مِن آلَاءِكَ رَبِّي اُكَذِّبُ. 

Virtues:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written...". 

Time of Khutbah:

The Friday Khutbah starts at 1.00 pm during winter time (End of October to End of March) and 1.15 pm during summer time (End fo March to end of October).
