Save the lost. Cast out demons. Heal the sick.

I grew up in religion my whole life until I got fed up of not walking in the power of Jesus that I read about in the Bible. After one REAL encounter with Jesus Christ, I was set on fire to finally be able to walk out the wonderful call of God on my life to save, deliver, and heal the hurting and the searching!

Often in English, we use the single word “power” in the Bible, but in the New Testament, there are two primary Greek words translated as power—and they do NOT mean the same thing.

One is dunamis (δύναμις).
The other is exousia (ἐξουσία).
They are related — but very different.
Dunamis refers to miraculous ability, explosive force, supernatural strength.
Exousia refers to authority, legal right, delegated jurisdiction.

One is the ability to act.
The other is the right to act.

For example:
In Acts 1:8, Jesus says,
“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.”
The word used there is dunamis — supernatural ability.

But in John 1:12, it says:
“As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God…”
The word translated “power” there is exousia.
That verse is not talking about miracle-working ability. It means you were given the legal right, the authority, the status to become a child of God.

Two different Greek words.
Two different dimensions.

Now — let’s focus on dunamis.
When the Bible speaks of miracles, it uses this word. In Matthew 11:20, Jesus rebuked the cities where most of His “mighty works” were done — that phrase is dunamis. Explosive supernatural acts.

In Romans 1:16, the gospel is the power of God unto salvation — again, dunamis. The gospel carries supernatural force.
ďżź
Dunamis is not influence.
It’s not personality.
It’s not hype.
It is the miracle-working, resurrection power of God.
And Acts 1:8 says believers receive it.
Christianity was never meant to be powerless.
It was meant to operate in dunamis. 🔥

When the Bible talks about grace, it uses the Greek word charis (χάρις). Most people define grace as “unmerited favor.” And that’s true — but it’s only part of the picture.

Charis is richer than simple pardon. It also carries the idea of divine enablement, empowerment, and supernatural help. Grace isn’t just God overlooking your sin. It’s God stepping into your weakness with His strength.

In the New Testament world, charis described a gift freely given — but also the power that accompanies that gift. Grace is not passive. It is active. It works. It strengthens. It transforms.
Paul said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Grace doesn’t just forgive you.
Grace empowers you to live differently.
It teaches you to deny ungodliness (Titus 2:11–12).
It strengthens you to endure.
It gives you boldness you didn’t have before.
Grace is not an excuse to stay the same.
It’s the supernatural force that makes change possible.
Grace is not weakness.
It is heaven’s power operating in human limitation.

At an 18-week ultrasound, Jennifer Scott was told her unborn baby had severe brain and heart defects. Doctors said parts of the baby’s brain were missing, fluid was filling the cavity, her heart wasn’t developing properly, and she would likely lose the baby. They recommended terminating the pregnancy.

After enduring four miscarriages, Jennifer refused to give up. She and her husband, Chris, chose to trust God completely. Jennifer opened her Bible, contacted friends, family, her church, and even The 700 Club, asking for prayer.

As doctors continued monitoring the pregnancy, they made a shocking discovery that new brain tissue began forming. By the time Jennifer gave birth on June 13, 2013, her daughter Lynette had a perfectly normal brain and heart.

Today, Lynette is healthy and thriving.
“My child is living proof that God still does miracles,” Jennifer said.

It is not coincidence that the mass shooting that just happened in Canada was done by a transgender who killed his family first. And now this hockey shooting was done by a transgender who killed his own family.

The devil is after the FAMILY UNIT.

My five year old was drawing a Valentine’s Day card for his Dad when he said something that COMPLETELY caught me off guard. He said, “Look, Mom! It looks like the heart of the Spirit. Because there’s so much love. All around the world.”

That struck me to my core. Because I know it’s true. I know how the Spirit of God has poured out His love for the people of this world and how He grieves for the ones who refuse salvation and relationship. The other day I was *briefly* speaking to my son about the difference between Jesus and the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit is really the one who leads us, speaks to us, and teaches us about Jesus. But I have never used the language that he used! It was such a reminder that when we stay submitted to God, keep our homes a place for the presence of God to reside, and bring our children into anointed atmospheres of worship and teaching, they absorb so much beyond what we even know. I know without a doubt that yes I strive to do my part, but it is truly God Himself who teaches my children.

“All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.“-Isaiah 54:13

“For God so loved the WORLD that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”-John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭

When most people hear “holy,” they think:
Perfect.
Rule-keeping.
Morally superior.
Religious.

But that’s not what the word actually means. The primary biblical words for “holy” are:
Hebrew: Qādôsh (קָדוֹשׁ)
Greek: Hágios (ἅγιος)

And they don’t primarily mean “morally flawless.”
They mean:
Set apart.
Distinct.
Other.

When Isaiah sees the Lord and the angels cry,
“Holy, holy, holy…”
they aren’t chanting,
“Moral, moral, moral.”

They are declaring:
There is no one like Him.
He is in a category by Himself.
Completely other.

Holiness isn’t just about behavior. It’s about belonging. When God calls you holy, He’s not saying you perform perfectly.

He’s saying:
“You are Mine.
You are set apart.
You are marked as different.”

Yes, holiness produces purity.
Yes, it transforms behavior.
But the root of holiness isn’t rule-keeping.
It’s separation unto God.

So when Scripture says, “Be holy, for I am holy,”
it’s a call to live distinct.
Different from the world.
Aligned with Him.
Holy doesn’t mean “religious.”
It means set apart for God.
And that changes how you live.

19-year-old Kayleigh Bush won Miss North Florida in September 2024 fair and square.
Then the Miss America Organization tried to make her sign a new contract redefining “female” to include transgender women.
She refused.

Why? Because it went against her Christian beliefs about God’s design and truth isn’t negotiable. Two months later, they stripped her of her title rather than remove the language.
But God honors those who honor Him.

In October 2025, Kayleigh was crowned Miss She Leads America and recognized as a Young Christian Woman of Distinction, with her stand entered into the Congressional Record as a modern-day Esther. This is real beauty— standing for truth, even when it costs you.
